Was it all just a dream? Or maybe a vision? No, it was real...
Hello,
I got into anime when it started blowing up in the west in the late 90's/early 2000's, early Toonami years. Dropping off around the time Yu-Gi-Oh and Naruto were coming out. I have a soft spot for the older stuff from that time. In the past few years I've got back into it and am trying to watch some of the stuff I missed from that time and also some newer notable things.
If it looks like we have some similar interests, feel free to send me a friend request.
I've met and got signatures from Megan Shipman (Anya Forger), Christopher Sabat (x2 Piccolo), and Brian Drummond (x3 Allen Schezar, Zechs Marquise, El Diablos Nacho)

Tbh I haven't really watched any magical girl shows. I guess Wonder Egg Priority falls into that category, but it was pretty meh. I tend to like fantasy JRPG-style shows and cyberpunk, but I'll watch just about anything.
I really enjoyed Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple. Even with 50 episodes, I can't really say it had a bad episode. Great fighting "for 2006 anyway", fun characters, and a very comedy filled show .
Macross 7 was a pretty disappointing show. The overall concept was kind of ridiculous flying in a mecha and singing the enemy away. It was a letdown compared to the original series, though it did have some of the best cel animation.
Lastly, I've been watching a lot of Studio Chizu movies. I really enjoy how they keep that old Digimon-style art in them.
Own it (DVD)
I'm not that much picky when it comes to video games themed after franchises I'm a fan of. Like, if I want to play a solid FPS, then I don't mind imperfections as long as they are not severe or game breaking. However, I can be strict if a game is lazy or isn't made with enough care and respect to the franchise it is meant to be a part of. From what you said, Terminator: Resistance seems to be an alright FPS/Survival game, and definitely a great installment of the Terminator franchise. :D Once I upgrade my PC someday, I will definitely check it out! Thanks for the recommendation. :)
Yup, our anime affinity is quite high! :D
Oh that's good to know!!!
I read that manga many years ago when I became a new anime/manga fan, I gave that one an 8 on my score. So yeah I would go with that direction first, then try again re-watching the anime, maybe it'll grow on you.
Even before her I was still watching the odd anime here or reading a manga. And no I have not yet watched Death Note, as mentioned, I was aware of wildly popular anime that were going on, I just never made it a priority to seek them out to watch.
I see, that explains it.
Thank you for the clarification.
OK, so suggesting Gundam SEED was not a good idea, my apologies.
But thank you for replying back to me, appreciate it.
