Eek. That was a terrible review too. :P I cant read some of those early ones I wrote because they are soo bad. Anyway I am glad you are enjoying that anime as it was one of my first ones.

you can search for the ratings in Japan for the show. It rated the highest with women. Just because the author intended the anime/manga to be seinen doesn't necessarily mean it can't be another genre in other people's views.

Oh well, it felt like one to me. If you know Japanese, the meaning of Shoujo applies to the anime.

Yeah, it is expected to a great extent of course since it is evident in their society too, but this one hits you so hard over the head with it, I thought my review might spare some other potential viewers the pain, lol.


Some might care about gender equality but some might don't. All they care about is the story. There is AoT. Both genders wear the same uniform (Females don't wear skirts..That's rare to see in an anime) and a female lead that can kick ass.

Nice review of Log Horizon...

Oh and it's anime..Most anime these days have no gender equality. You've completed over 200 animes so you should know this by now. Anime's target audience is nerdy teenage boys who fantasizes women all the time. I don't like it too but I pretty much got used to it.
