Hey Deadly ^^ It's been a long long time since we talked here, actually...a year in terms of that long chat :/ Things have been busy and depressing in university, so pretty much my mood has been sometimes good and most of times bad. Still, the repeat exams went good. But then I got 2 repeat exams in third year -___- So it was pretty bad and I ended up barely passing them. Now I'm in final year of university and currently studying for 4 exams. Still, hope I pass them -__- Plus the essay I typed up and handed in a week ago, which was a pain to do :/ Sounds like you're busy as well, hope you'll be on holidays soon :) Same here haha, my younger brother is not a fan of anime due to the stupid americanized anime on TV, and now I've another brother, so two in total. Both of them can be annoying from time to time, lol. So I only watch some anime when they're asleep, but mostly when I'm in
university. Too bad I'm the only fan of anime in my entire family -__-

Well either the mood or just that you wanted to watch one of those shows from time to time xD So there's nothing wrong, lol. It's like sometimes you wanna watch a slice of life (SoL) series but after a while you wanna watch some action series. So it all comes down to what you want to watch at a particular time :) Maybe for the story, or just for relaxation (hence watching a SoL series). I haven't read Battle Royale, but since you mentioned that it's pretty violent, maybe I need to read it only when I'm in the horror mood. Does that involve head or limbs chopped off? Or it's just too much bloody violence in the manga? I saw a low rating at those OVAs for Higurashi, and I see the genre is a parody, so I guess it's just some kind of spin-off short anime. I guess there isn't anymore story to tell from that anime anymore. I remember only two western shows that has a main cast died - Family Guy and Ben-10 Alien Force. Haven't seen FG much other than clips, but Ben-10 I watched some before I got into anime. In FG, Brain the dog died of a car accident; while in Ben-10 Alien Force (second series to the original Ben-10) Ben's grandpa blew himself up along with a villain that they were facing. Though it's still unrealistic in both animations, because in FG, a stupid time travel plot was made showing Stewie saving Brain's life so Brain wasn't dead at all -__- And in Ben-10, even after Ben's grandpa died, he never moaned like any anime do, which makes fans thinking whether or not he cares for his grandpa. This I have to agree with you, non of the western shows ever have as much emotional impact compare to Japanese anime. And even in dubbed versions of an anime, the whole emotional impact is completely lost, rarely any preservation in them, and they're much more lost when the whole anime is edited and americanized. So it sucks. At least in anime there are main characters dying in some shows as you said, so in the dub at least this is preserved.
Oh I see, so you can simply avoid shooting as much as possible, that's good. Or else you might always feel guilty for shooting people in a video game xD Well if I manage to get a PS3 soon then hopefully they would still have this game on sale :) Though now PS4 is out, the gaming tech sure advanced a lot, graphics is now much closer to being like in real life, wonder if there ever be a PS5, then it might be like controlling real people in a game lol.

Kyoukai no Kanata can be really improved if they made Mirai more of a serious character instead of a clumsy moe girl -___- And the whole series felt slow and nothing happens. Still need to catch up on season 1 of Yuru Yuri, somehow I'm not into that show. But Non Non Biyori really brought me back to this relaxing atmosphere which I experienced in Tamayura and Aria series, loved it! Renge is the cutest in that anime show, I'm looking forward to the 2nd season :)
Clannad AS can indeed be heavy considering it was more emotional and deep compare to a comedy-like season 1. But that series really pays off in complimentary to season 1. Maybe the supernatural bit is the only one that's out of place. Unlike Air, which can actually the supernatural thing with the setting, but the supernatural things in Clannad hasn't done much other than reviving Nagisa via time alteration. But overall, I loved the whole series. Aria indeed feeds the soul, I want to rewatch the whole series someday, but currently I'm reading the manga to compare the differences.
Actually Blood-C on MAL has the SoL tag removed, I guess it was there by mistake, and now horror is there as a replacement. Since MAL isn't a site run by officials, mistakes on the info tend to happen a lot.
Good luck with that :D Remembering Japanese names can be really difficult unless they're popular enough to remember, lol.

So pretty much the ending of Guilty Crown ruined the whole anime? Maybe the anime was rushed I guess...
This is so true, and also a reason why some makers find the modern day fans to be more hard to please than in the past. People nowadays looking for clichés, and if there are some clichés present, then they immediately drop the show or give them a low rating. This proves that anime that has originality nowadays is extremely rare to find. Action and romance genre especially in my opinion.
I wonder if there are any VN that has only one route, so it saves me many hours of playing and actually finish the whole thing.
Oh that's a pity :/ That site so far just shows a large emoticon and that's it. Maybe they ran out of money to keep it going. How do you manage your anime with the app? How does it work? I never write an app before, so I've zero experience on it, lol.

I have seen that the club seems a little down even if we are still active.
So I'm sending this newsletter to bump you up and invite you to pass by the club~

There is gonna be a new change. It consist on opening a card theme ever WEEK. So go and pass by to ask for the card and not lose the change to collect it.
There is also the Creation Card Contest (C.C.C.), remember that if you win first or second place you are able to ask all the cards of an edition from linette (me ^^').

Happy Belated Easter! I'm quite busy finding internships which has no success so far, so I lost my energy in typing stuff much. Anyway, hope I can reply soon...maybe after my repeat exams in August :( As now it's hard to reply with my brothers distracting me :( Hope you're doing well in real life ^^

Ah fuck soz its been so long. But im super busy q.q been preparing for my exchange student stuff for a couple of months, and now that im here(japan) i still have a ton of things to do. But when i have the time, ill answer ok?
