Comics otaku, cinema otaku, animal otaku, BL otaku, history otaku, linguistics otaku, literature otaku, art otaku, know-it-all otaku and basically just... a super-versatile Oba-san otaku. Yup.
Fav genres; BL, Psychological thrillers, everything dark and disturbing, dystopian stuff--especially survival of the fittest type of things, natural disasters, well written dramas, sports (which makes no sense since I hate sports IRL...)
Fav comics; (some of them...) "Monster", "Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai", "Bastard", "Killing Stalking", "Canis; The Speaker", "Complex"
House gods; Urazawa Naoki, Yoneda Kou
Best comic artist in history; Zakk (and Urasawa Naoki for his insane talent in drawing every single character 100 % distinguishable. No two are alike.)
Guilty pleasures I occasionally pig out on; Cheesy Shoujo, retarded BL, "Bleach"
Random obsessions; Yakuza, tsundere characters, insane characters, hardass-old-dude-detectives, everything involving dude-on-dude, Kansai-ben, single dads, cool female protagonists (far too rare, sadly...), awesome art
I'm seriously addicted to WEBTOON MANHWAS! (And some manhuas, too.) Sucks that webtoons won't be listed in MAL, so... (Edit; Apparently, nowadays, some are.)
...WEBTOON TITLES NOT TO BE MISSED;
* "KILLING STALKING" -- Koogi
(Super dark psychological crime thriller/drama/sickest love story ever. Gay elements. Don't let that deter you. A masterpiece as a whole. A severe trigger warning, though. Nothing for the faint-hearted or easily upset, because of the content of violence, gore, sexual/physical abuse and everything else. It's painful, depressing, extremely creepy and takes a very open mind to be able to understand the fucked up characters--but if you take your time to really THINK when reading, it's among the most fascinating comics you'll come across.)
* "BASTARD" -- Kim Kanbi (Thriller/suspense/drama) EXCELLENT. Among the best comics I've ever read. Dark, creepy, nailbiter, interesting MC POV for a story on this theme.
* "AN UNCOMFORTABLE TRUTH" -- Eerun
(Very dark psychological drama. Extremely uncomfortable, indeed. Haunting, disturbing, depressing. A creepy look at a broken mind slowly dwindling into full blown insanity. You won't want to read it more than once, but for anyone interested in the psychology of the darker minds, it's a treat. But it does leave you kind of bothered.)
* "SAVE ME" -- 1230 (Suspense/drama. The darker side of school life. Bullying and loneliness. Great one.)
* "DARK HEAVEN" -- Juns (Dark but sweet BL. Good story, well told, juicy smut. Among the best BL you can find out there.)
If you would happen to wander into my page and want RECS about webtoons, shout and I'll drown you in 'em, from every genre. And I welcome recs, too!

ABOUT MY RATINGS;
It might seem strange to rate a masterpiece like "Monster" just slightly higher than some dirty yaoi without much of a storyline. But here's the deal; how is it fair to demand the same things from two works that differ from each other in genre?
Intent--it's about intent. A drama story with a serious content should hold high standards in terms of storytelling. A comedy needs to be funny. Horror should be scary and romance should be romantic. If pure smut is presented as pure smut and delivers excellent smut--then it can very well hold a 10/10 alongside classics from other genres.
Quality is relative.

Light: "Motherfucker!!"
That OVA that you mentioned, I saw it a couple of years back but I couldnt enjoy that OVA because I made the mistake of reading other people's comments who had read the manga, so yea, I made the mistake of reading the spoilers first. But it was great OVA.
Only 2 animes have given me those types of emotions that you experience with Kaze when it comes to romantic animes: Nagi no Asukara and Boys Be. Im assuming you havent watched those animes based on your anime list here on MAL
I think you would really enjoy Nagi No Asukara. In my opinion, its the anime of 2014. Watch the first 3 episodes to see if youll like it. If not, then drop it.
I dont think youll enjoys Boys Be. So dont bother with that one.
(sorry for my bad english, i'm learning xd)
Just want to say that I really enjoyed your review for Kaze.
I consider that anime one of my top ten animes of all time and my second favorite psychological anime (I consider Welcome to the NHK # 1 when it comes to psychological, and that anime is also on my top ten).
I remember when I first was going to watch Kaze. I pretty much said that I will watch it, have a few laughs, and then drop it (since animes that deal with those kind of situation are usually done for comedy and nothing serious). But wow, was Kaze different.
Its a shame that Kaze has a low rating of 7.4 here on MAL (mostly due to anime fans not willing to drop their moral standards when watching anime). It should definitely be higher.
