Haru wo Daiteita is literally one of the very best yaoi manga in existence. Can't believe she ruined a perfectly good story that was 20 years in the making with that terrible ending of the sequel. I advise anyone who's thinking about reading HWD to spare yourselves from reading Haru wo Daiteita: Alive. The first manga alone has a great story with a satisfying conclusion.

I have 4 chapters left in Haru wo Daite Ita and I don't want it to be finished. Huhu. I want more Iwaki x Katou in my life. I'll sincerely going to miss my precious babies and their precious moments. Definitely, the greatest yaoi manga I've read. Huhu. Thank you for bringing it to my life. I love you. ;-;

Her art style is beautiful.
Iwaki from Haru Wo Daiteita (Embracing Love) is my favourite character by far.
I love how real her characters are and how involved you find yourself with their lives.
I find that she's very good at breaking the stereotype with her older Uke characters by expressing that silly things like age and height don't make an Uke or Seme, their personalities are what count.
Haru Wo Daiteita captivated my heart, steamy moments aside, the story is beautiful and complex with all the ups and downs of love and fear of acceptance.
It's truly beautiful. Volume 6 is particularly wonderful, for one very important event.
I hope that others enjoy this series as much as I have.
