Thanks for the heads up! It would have taken me weeks to notice. I'll get around to fixing it later, and probably spice it up so be on the lookout for that ^_^

With your mother??! What did she say? But yeah I'm totally saving up for my next Japan Trip, as for Tokyo - I really did enjoy it much much more than Kyoto, especially the subway system so I'd totally be down to go, but that's a few years from now.

How crowded was it in April though since sakura is peak season? I cannot imagine how bad the public transport must have been.

Aside from that, I really love this anime season, it is absolutely fantastic and I'm really looking forward to it. I think this is probably the first season where I end up watching a good 80% of the currently airing shows.

Oh wow congrats on the Uni acceptance! I got accepted too, even too, even though it was my second choice >_>, still good though right? Right now I'm kind of going through a crisis of coming to terms with the fact that I'll never go to school again, so watching school anime is like a paradise but also it makes me feel like there's just so much I could've done and experienced but will never do again. Hoping for a Re-Life sometime soon. Actually I went to Japan alone for my 18th in May-June and honestly it was the best thing trip I've ever been on. They have peach Fanta, otherwise referred to Mizu no Kami-sama. I've stayed in a capsule hotel with an onsen and everything, then went airbnb to an akihabara apartment and later on moved onto Kyoto via the bullet train and stayed at a traditional Japanese house in a rural area. I could go on and on but I don't want to bore you too much.

Anime-wise there are so many great anime to catch up on both romance-wise as well as others. I've been mostly neglecting it for the spring/summer season so getting back into it now is fantastic. I'd love to see your list of shows, knowing your taste I'm at least 80% sure it'll be extremely helpful. Right now I'd say that my favorite is probably Classroom of the Elite. I highly recommend it.

By the way, what are you looking forward to most in Uni? And whilst we're on this, are you going to join the Anime Club?

Ah right I had no idea, I'll change it now. Also I absolutely love Tsuredzure Children, thanks for the suggestion! Have you read the manga for it?
PastPerfection May 21, 2017 4:55 PM
I watched OniAi when I was still a super n00b to anime, especially ecchi.

Nice :D ! who's your favorite character ? I see x3 Well I guess its a matter of taste I did enjoy this arc quite a lot..in particular volume 10 ahah with the double page drawings :3
What didnt you like about it ? My favourite volumes must be 6/10/13/16/18 I think :)

I see that happens to me too :'( and then Im too lazy to read it all again afterwards e.e
Although I would say Brynhildr's plot has a fair amount of details so re-reading it would make it more enjoyable I would say.
Once I come back to a manga I havent read in a long time, I feel its hard to re-connect with the characters :(

Yup ! But usually I prefer to wait until its published or got a fair amount of chapters scanslated till I get into it XD Really hate waiting for these new chapters :')
To be honest I'm not that much into comedy..so I don't what other manga would have this similar vibe to it... and Okamoto does have a special type of humor :') I would suggest you reading Grand Blue tho...a comedy manga that was suggested to me by a friend. Really loving it for the moment and it's hilarious XD !

I will read that. I do love the genres of it sooooo I think I could like it :3 ! Thank you !

Likewise :) ! The anime fucked up.
The first 6 eps were nice but then it was rushed and not even finished e.e (dont think there will be any other season and hopefully not tbh)
The last two eps drifted away from the manga so badly and they were lame.

So have you finished reading it :) ? The manga is awesome :D !

Well Okamoto's work is quite controversial anyway and lot of people don't like(or understand?) his stories.
Maybe because all his anime adaptations end up rushed and killing of the story's meaning.
Also maybe because people are too lazy to check out the influences of the story and end up misunderstanding everything

I dont know, how the KonoSuba thing could happen, but thanks for making me aware of it.

I think fuuka is an above average show, but not an outstanding anime. If you have time to spare and like Music, Romance and Drama, the you could give it a try.

In my opinion Highschool DxD´s setting is much more interesting; The Chess and card game based cgroups, the "real" mythology and the three way war give it a really interesting story. There is an actual story in comparison to Dakara Boku wa H ga Dekinai, where the fanservice was a really stupid plotpoint. Highschool DxD also has a lot fanservice without any reason plotwise, but i like the Story so much, that i recently started to read the light novel.
In the end its still a herem ecchi show, but if you arent 100% against fanservice, then you should give it a try.

What is your opinion of the ending of Boku dake ga Inai Machi. Because i think the ending is so bad, that it made me rate ,the otherwise safe 10/10 anime, 9/10; I was even thinking of giving it an 8/10.

Yeah, I got caught up in some RL university prep work. A friend of mine came over to shove Accel World down my throat, so I did watch it.

I have many many many gripes with Accel World.
-The MC is completely useless and helpless, even in the virtual world he was supposed to be this 'fastest VR gamer ever' but when he got into his first match where was his speed at? Did he not know how to play VR videogames?? But that couldn't possibly be the case. He only exists to make others relate to him, and his only redeeming quality is that he's kind of nice. That's literally it. The hottest and most likable girl in the show dated him because she felt sorry for him and loved him for his inner strength. But even after Dense-kun got confessed to when she saved his fucking life, he's still tempted by his Childhood friend. ???

- For a romance anime, this has no romance. "I love you" *Gets embarassed* and that's it. That's all he has ever done. Most jellyfish have more spine than that. Oh I should also mention how the childhood friend has more chemistry with MC than her own boyfriend. How are they even a couple?

-This anime has a fantastic story build up. There are all these kings that he has to defeat, and he has 24 episodes to do it. "Yeah you know what lets introduce another antagonist thats not a king" It made me so mad that they had to put in a couple of filler episodes, which I skipped. They're about to have a showdown. Why on Satan's green earth would I want to watch Black Snow White and her 7 pimps at the beach. It could have been so much more than it was. It could've made references to Sword Art too. Not an obligation, but would've been cool to see.

-*Willpower* is an acceptable fighting game power. It's a video game. Not only can the MC fly without having to do anything for it, just bullied a few times, but lets make a system where the MC can bloody *wish* things to be things they aren't. I get that it's anime, but the power to *wish* is too anime for me.

-Back to the MC who I still despise. "Hey look at me feel sorry that I'm getting bullied. Also I have no friends. Well actually I have two friends, one of them who's a beautiful girl that loves me and cares for me enough to make me food to cheer me up, cause she knows that getting me a couple of SlimFast pills won't cut it.

-Speaking of which, wasn't he told to improve himself in real life? Where's that? And if he did improve himself, would he just be a really short kid with eyes the size of his incompetence?

-Did I forget to mention how he could've made himself (and probably will in S2 if there ever is one) a harem? Looking and acting like that? He cried so much in this anime he might as well have been saying "Leave Britney alone". This is just another way for those that look like the MC irl to relate to and live out their dreams as harem kings through a character. (Which hypocritically is why I watch romance, to experience it.)

Also I'm not sure if I mentioned this earlier but fuck the MC.

Wow I am actually thoroughly impressed by the perfectionism. However, being the perfectionist that you are you typo'd "that way I can seen". I haven't ever been this excited to spot a grammar mistake. But honestly that's a pretty good system, and Bake in only three days? That's pretty insane.

As a reward for your efforts, (even though it's tumblr) here's a little something that will make your day better. http://aasuka.tumblr.com/post/60953150122

Stop you're gonna make me cry. I just add specials and movies as I come across them, I don't really search for them. But now that you've pointed it out I'm going to hunt down every single OVA and movie I've ever watched and mark it down.
TaziCrazi Jan 8, 2017 1:18 AM
You too? Oh man that scene was great. Especially when her father was talking about how much livelier she has been since she met Araragi. Also that last "Shall we kiss part" from Senjougahara was halarious. It really shows how even though she has been through hell and never holds back with her insults, she's still innocent and tender. Truly an amazing scene.

I feel like Shaft just gets better with every movie too. The Kizu movies were amazing with their storytelling, soundtrack and that sweet sweet animation. By far the best I've seen. Also kind of made me want to root for Hanekawa, but then I remember how selfishly she was using her cat form to hurt others and that kind of fell off. Can't wait until the third movie.

P.S: The meme subs for Kizu 1 were the shit.

Oh man I've had Code Geass on my PTW for a while. A friend of mine also said it was legendary but I didn't take him seriously. I'm gonna watch it right after I finish my current series - Baccano. I'll definitely get around to it soon.

But seriously though, how emotional was that disappearing scene in Dusk Maiden? I honestly expected the MC to accept her disappearance and that would be that, but I'm so so glad that he didn't. What a twist that was. Don't even get me started on the book scene. I haven't cried that hard in all of my anime history. I was weeping, which isn't something I'd normally do as 17 year old guy.

IB is basically a pre-university program which is for grades 11 and 12 if we're going by US Standards. Comparing it to A-Levels or Advanced Placements or what have you, it's notoriously hard and overcomplicated but is respected by universities and takes priority if an IB student has done well in comparison to an A-Levels student that has done well. It's also 'prep for univesity' and out of the people that I know that are in University now, they say it's a lot easier than IB.

Honestly though, Death Note should've just been something like 30 episodes long ending with a final battle between L and Light, which would've been much much more satisfying, since introducing characters so late into the anime and making us care about them is just unrealistic. What are your thoughts on it? Also what other must-watch anime have I missed that you think I'd enjoy? Doesn't have to be romance, I'm down for anything.
