At least they have those titles covered. Here in the Philippines, the publishers only care about the mainstream ones. Don't lose hope~

Hey~ How's it going?

Hmm it was my 50th completed anime based on my list and during that time, iirc harem genre was really rampant and I was watching multiple of them. It's not my fav in particular but this was a good show too. It's just a little bit unsatisfactory because there's no specific girl chosen by the end of it (which is what happens with most harem animes anyway).

We have quite a few animes in common - nowadays I prefer comedy + slice of life + fantasy-esque shows like Kobayashi. :)

I can only imagine what a revelation that must have been, especially since these were various items from your own home.

There's nothing wrong with having it postponed, as all that matters is you eventually watching it. For instance, my friend had encouraged me heavily to watch JoJo's Bizarre Adventure over the period of a couple months, and though I had postponed it, I found myself ultimately pleased (beyond, even) when I had finally given it the time. Despite loving it so much, I was still content with how I ended up watching it and its sequels at my own pace; it was neither rushed nor procrastinated. Digression aside, you're fine. Be in the mood for it.

On that last note, I would say that Love Live! is quite different from Code Geass, but it's another vetted Sunrise production, so you can't ever go wrong there.

Thirty days, huh? I guess I'll have you beat there with my "several years" hiatus, but that's neither here nor there. Hopefully after I get some sleep tonight and attend to some responsibilities tomorrow, I'll be prepared to get back into the groove of things.

I generally don't collect physical copies of anime, especially BDs. The only three titles I currently own are Cowboy Bebop, Nichijou, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and this is only because 1) they were fairly priced, 2) in high quality, and 3) available in my country. I would love to own the others in my list, but they're either too expensive (like Kill la Kill, too hard to find (like Kenpuu Denki Berserk, or not available here in the west yet (like Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon).

Don't get me wrong, I love owning physical copies of material (especially in regards to manga), but there is all too often an issue of cost and availability, issues that are usually satisfied by Netflix or my friend's Crunchyroll subscription (though for some series I am forced to make use of alternative methods, so to speak).

Further on the note of "pricing", I genuinely have no idea how the anime industry even stays afloat with how insanely overpriced anime "volumes" are in Japan. Seeing a "volume" of two episodes being marketed for around $55 (which is more than what I paid for the Nichijou box set) is absolutely insane to me.

Yeah, it's quite the striking coincidence. I don't know if this happens to you often, but there's this "phenomenon" where after you experience something or learn of someone for the first time, you start to see (or rather notice) their names appear more often in conversation. This is yet another example it seems. In terms of how you found me, that makes sense. I've done that sort of comment pathing myself from time to time, since if an individual is friends with a friend they're often the best candidates for new friends. It's always swell to meet another with a taste for design.

Gotcha. The two biggest ones I see you haven't watched would be Cowboy Bebop and Code Geass. Both are produced by Sunrise, my favorite studio, and easily some of the best anime out there. I go so far as to say the former is a genuine work of art, and that isn't an uncommon opinion either. For Geass, despite not being a big fan of mecha series in general, it surprised me with how excellent the first season was. I've yet to finish the second set, though. Anyway, cannot recommend enough to give each the time of day.

For sure! I've been quite busy over the last two weeks, more so than I have been in years, and it's been to the point where I haven't sat down and watched something since late August. Doesn't seem like that long when you say it like that, but it definitely feels like ages for me. To make matters worse, my PTW is steadily growing while my watching never shrinks... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's wickedly coincidental, then. My bad! I know of Hachiman as a figure in Japanese mythology (who has since been made a playable character in a game of mine), so I assumed you tracked my profile down from there.

Regardless, thanks for your original comment. I've put a lot of effort into the design of my profile, yet few really give it so much as a look. I'm not sure what you were referring to before regarding my favorites being "unfinished" or "broken", though.

Cheers for the PriPri love as well. I need to catch up =P

I'm confused, then. Why did you refer to me as Hachiman? I've only played him once (and in that game).

wtf lol

Cual es el propósito de la vida? ¿Cuál es el propósito de la existencia? ¿Estoy vivo o muerto? ¿Podría ser ambos? Quién sabe. Creo que si. ¿Lo estoy perdiendo?

True, sometimes even I dont understand why and how I score some shows. I even changed my opinion and ratings of other shows like Mahouka and SAO 1 & 2 after re-watching it. I seem to enjoy them a lot more now than during my first time 👌
