Dengeki announced the result of the online poll on the best anime aired this Spring and the most anticipated anime to be aired this summer. The vote was carried out from June 10th -24th.

I would switch Durarara with Angel Beats and Arakawa with K-ON! in places...but bleh, whatever, that's THEIR taste...

Ofcourse it's first, best from Spring list, in my opinion.
Mby it's a bit overrated here on MAL but i enjoyed it, so it doesn't matter.
But K-On doesn't deserve it's place that high, i enjoyed 1st season a bit, but seeing second one i dropped it after 2nd ep, fed up with moe s***.
Working was good, waiting for 2nd season.

Angel Beats! doesn't deserve all of the praise it's been getting. It's one of the most disappointing anime I've ever seen.
I was expecting an exciting action drama from PA Works. Something like CANAAN. And that's what I got the first 2-3 episodes. Then it turned into an awkward comedy with jokes that felt misplaced with flat underdeveloped characters and some okay action scenes. Also, everyone suddenly got moe-ified. What's with Yuri turning into a fucking tsundere at the end and

OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE?!
God, so disappointing.
Also, the plotholes were endless. It doesn't make any sense at all. It's rating makes me lol. 8,50. Are you serious? Ugh.

tl;dr: Angel Beats! is a huge disappointment.

I enjoyed it 'cause i didn't expect too much from it anyway, at first seeing KEY, making another work got me kinda excited, but reading all the comments made me think twice.

But it was too damn short, all they did was introduce people with 2-3 character pasts, leaving so many behind, even that angel, 13eps wasn't enough, it ended so fast missing so many things. Just hope Ova fills some of that hole.

Maid-sama! deserved to be higher. The only thing I liked about Mayoi Neko Overrun! was their Saki-style Jenga episode, and that had nothing to do with the series.

Not surprised at Angel Beats! and K-ON!!. I admit that I did enjoy Angel Beats and thought that it had it's brilliant moments, but could have worked out better if there were more episodes. K-ON! is no longer about music.

As for Angel Beats, I did enjoy it, but there was something oh so wrong about it.
Seriously, surprised to see it #1.

Angel Beats was pretty good the first 11 episodes, but the last two episodes = totally random bullshit crap last minute made episodes with random comedy and random revelations.

Yeah. Angel Beats is probably the second or third worst show I have watched this season. It had potential, but the directing was poor. Kaichou wa Maid-sama and Heroman are the only contenders to go below it.

Oh, and all of this ranking talk is including B Gata H Kei as well, by the way. At least that makes for a good guilty pleasure if nothing else. I only started that one today, as I was unsure about it at the time of airing (it was drawing comparisons with Seto no Hanayome, which I didn't like at all when I tried watching it), but I gave it a shot and I enjoyed it (the first episode, anyway).

Angel Beats! no.1? cant say anything but Durarara!! is better as well, I think they desserve a higher rank, also Arakawa Under the Bridge.

Nice. Angel Beats! on top. I think it gets what it deserves.
I can see why Kaichou wa Maid-sama went lower though. It was pretty interesting but after episode 9... not so anymore.

AB! and K-On!! on top, huh? I guess the mind of the western anime fanbase works in reverse. Not that it's such a bad thing, but just saying.

Surprised that Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou ranked that high! It's a show I wished I didn't watch :(

Also surprised that Kaichou wa Maid-sama! was ranked so low o_o Imma would have thought otaku-culture would dig the tsundere/maid-cosplay theme of it, thus pushing up its ratings... oh well...

Angel Beats was a blast and deserves it's #1. I hope we get another one.
