Light Novel 'A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu.' Gets TV Anime in January 2025

Bandai Namco Filmworks opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Kousuke Unagi's A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu. (I Left my A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!) light novel on Wednesday, revealing the main cast, staff, teaser promotional video, and a teaser visual (pictured). The anime is scheduled to air in two consecutive cours on NTV's 30 broadcast stations beginning in January 2025.

Unagi began writing the fantasy adventure story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2020. Kodansha began publishing the series with illustration by Super Zombie under its Ranobe Books imprint in June 2021. The third volume was released in July 2022.

A manga adaptation by Yuuri began serialization on the Magazine pocket website in June 2021. Kodansha shipped the seventh volume on April 9 and will release the eighth volume on September 9.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English for digital release in January 2024 and released the fifth volume on July 16.

Synopsis
"I can't do this anymore!" Yuke Feldio, a red mage, just left his adventurer A-Rank party. After being mistreated as a handyman and ridiculed for five years, he finally snapped! And so began his desolate, unemployed life... or so he thought! Through a stroke of luck, Yuke is welcomed into an all-female adventurer party comprised of his former students!! As they defeat dungeons one after another, Yuke's true strength is gradually revealed! As it turns out, this red mage wields extraordinary magic and skills?! (Source: Kodansha USA)
