The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video below. Katsumi Ono (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu) is directing the anime at Bandai Namco Pictures. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Shangri-La Frontier) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Masakazu Yamazaki (2.5-jigen no Ririsa sub-character design) is designing the characters and Gou Sakabe (Date A Live) composes the music. Unagi began writing the fantasy adventure story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2020. Kodansha began publishing the series with illustration by Super Zombie under its Ranobe Books imprint in June 2021. The fourth volume was released on October 2. A manga adaptation by Yuuri began serialization on the Magazine pocket website in June 2021. Kodansha shipped the eighth volume on September 9.
