A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu.

I dont know why this anime has low rating (6), this anime isn't a masterpiece but it just very good, surrounded by your 'ex-student' party like harem but not feel like that, the MC is not powerful but he experience is make he clever to handle any situations, and the romance is too good, neither too much or too little.

Yuke is a red-mage adventurer who expelled from A-Rank party, and joining ex-student party who gaining popularity after defeating a dungeon boss, but the MC ex-party (Simon as leader) doesn't like the party who he joining now and the performance of simon party is decrease after ... MC out from the party, it makes Simon arrogant and trying to make MC join back to the party, but Yuke reject that outright, and speak out about everything that Yuke feelings in their party, make him less 'naive' MC.

afterward, more and more popularity gained and Simon party has planning to destroy the Yuke current party in some dungeon, but they get attacked by monster and died pathetically except one girl that 'feel' bad for Yuke in ex-party and trying to save Yuke.

Whats the point make this anime is good is Yuke has motto that prioritize safety and having fun in same time, and act like a truly experienced leader, not too naive, but not too OP, he make use right skill to attack enemy perfectly and switch with another party member to defeat the enemy, like a true party. Yuke also solve a problem wisely without any harm 'needed' like wild adventurer, and make the party more and more grow in every opportunity.

This has some fun concepts that I haven't seen before and the animation is slightly above average in quality, but it's not enough to save the show from mediocrity.

This suffers from the same excessive horniness and harem BS an annoying number of fantasy anime have. Normally that can be ignored if the rest of the show is good enough, but this just feels aimless.

The plot isn't episodic, but it somehow ends up feeling that way. It's difficult to describe, but the show just kind of... happens. Characters arguably change and grow, but not to any significant degree. The world building is interesting, but it never ... really delves below the surface.

In short, this is the most 5/10 thing I've seen in a long time. It's not the worst, but I wouldn't bother if you have anything else to do with your time.

Think of any fantasy anime in existence, what would you imagine it to be like? Probably something like: "A guy get's kicked out of the hero party for whatever reason. His powers are viewed as being weak, but... they are actually op. He joins/creates a party and of course, there are only girls who join. They climb the ranks and all girls magically fall in love with our protagonist, while the old hero party falls off".

Well this is a pretty accurate description of this show. We have a guy who leaves his party (✓), is op but no one knows he is (✓), joins a ... party with only girls (✓), get's super famous and rises in the ranks (✓) while the "hero party" falls of (✓).

The cliche itself is not the problem here, more it's boring execution. There are pretty interesting shows that follow this exact same premise, but change something about it's execution. This show just feels generic and I will have forgotten it's name in around a week.

Here are some general problems with this shows execution:

1. The characters are copy and paste (as always). You have extrovert girl, shy girl and of course "loli girl", but plot twist, she is actually the oldest of them all (haven't seen that anywhere before. Feels like an excuse for something). They have A. no personality, B. all fall for our protagonist for no reason at all, and C. are basically just there to say how strong and op the protagonist is. Oh, and there's also good old animal hybrid girl that talks like a cat and has no personality other than being a cat.

2. Our protagonist not only has the most generic and boring design ever but is a characterless shell of nothingness. He somehow knows every little thing there is to know about dungeons, despite being a mere 20 which is actually the same age as one of the girls in the group. Being presented as a mage/support type, it should be the main thing he would be doing, but no. Not only can he buff his party members, poison, blind the enemy's, he also has some crazy powerful attack spells, creates expensive potions/oils like it's nothing and has like every item there is to have. He is supposed to be op, but couldn't he at least have some sort of progression ark?

3. The old party members of the protagonist are (of course) evil, arrogant, clueless, stupid etc. They are the pure cliche of an evil party that kicks out their best member. This is just so boring because it has been executed a million times before, in the exact same way. We don't learn about their motives or anything, they are just evil, nothing more or less. At least there is a little bit of progression with one of the characters later on.

4.The world does not really fit. It's complicated to describe but it's just a weird mix of things. On one side, it's a fantasy world with a European style, containing all sorts of magic, taverns, guilds, monsters, dungeons etc. But then the characters stream their raids, have TV's and all sorts of magical displays. It just does not really match.

After all this critic, there are still a good things to say about this show, it's animation is actually not that bad. The quality is really good and the spell animations are well done. The sound design is also executed quite nicely. It would be nice to get good animation and good story delivered in one though.
