'Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai' Reveals Main Cast, Additional Staff, First Promo for Spring 2024

The official website of the Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai (Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night) television anime revealed the main cast, additional staff, and the first promotional video on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2024 on Tokyo MX, Kansai TV and BS 11.

Mahiru Kouzuki: Miku Itou (5-toubun no Hanayome)
Kanno Yamanouchi: Rie Takahashi ("Oshi no Ko")
Kiwi Watase: Miyu Tomita (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai? Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen)
Kim Anuuku Mei Takanashi: Miyuri Shimabukuro (Carole & Tuesday)

Chief Animation Director: Junichirou Taniguchi (Prison School), Akiko Toyoda (Adachi to Shimamura), Asuka Suzuki (Haikyuu!! Second Season animation director)

Ryouhei Takeshita (Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo. Yuuki Yaku (Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun original creator) is handling the script and series composition. Junichirou Taniguchi is also designing the characters.

A manga adaptation illustrated by Niko Fujii is scheduled to begin serialization on Kodansha's Magazine pocket magazine in April 2024.

@VanishingKira A lot of people have watched their old shows but probably don't realize they made them. For example, 11 eyes, which do not look like their anime at all.
