'Shy' Unveils Additional Cast, Staff, First Promo, Fall 2023 Premiere

The official website of the television anime adapting Bukimi Miki's Shy manga unveiled additional cast, staff, opening theme, the first promo, and a key visual (pictured) on Thursday. The anime is set to premiere in October 2023 on TV Tokyo.

MindaRyn (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season Part 2) is performing the opening theme "Shiny Girl," which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Masaomi Andou (Kanata no Astra) is directing the television anime at 8bit.

Miki began serializing the action drama manga in Weekly Shounen Champion in August 2019. Akita Shoten shipped the 19th volume on May 8, and the 20th volume is scheduled to be released on August 8.

Yen Press licensed the manga in English in July 2022. The second volume went on sale on March 21, while the third volume is set for a July 18 release.
