'Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha' Reveals Additional Staff, Second Promo for Summer 2023

The Pony Canyon booth at AnimeJapan 2023 revealed additional staff, a second promo, and second key visual (pictured) for the Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha (The Dreaming Boy is a Realist) television anime on Sunday. The anime is set to premiere in Summer 2023.

Kazuomi Koga (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is directing the television anime at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Michiko Yokote (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) is in charge of the series composition. Miyabi Ozeki (Shuumatsu no Harem) is the character designer.

Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha adapts Okemaru's romantic comedy light novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in December 2018. Hobby Japan acquired the novel and began publishing under the HJ Bunko label in June 2020, featuring illustrations by Mizore Saba. The seventh volume shipped in August 2022, and the eighth volume is set to release on April 1.

Popuri Yoshikita began serializing a manga adaptation on the Shounen Ace Plus magazine in March 2021. Kadokawa released the third volume in November 2022.

Ahhhhh, Miyabi Ozeki being the character designer and they're directing it at Gokumi and AXsiZ, great for this adaptation.
It's nothing really special but on the PTW it goes!
