Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha

If you are looking for a chill, easy to follow and almost wanting to be there to smack someone for doing it wrong? Yeah this is the anime for you. I don't seen what people are comparing to Oregairu. Sure it's not as polished but its very much enjoyable. If you want an anime to replace that one, this ain't it chief. If you want an anime you can laugh at the character, go right ahead. There are things i do not agree with, especially age wise, but that's just me.

Over all its a great anime to watch if you are stuck on figuring out ... what you want to watch and have grown bored of mainstream stuff.

This anime show's premise, centered around Wataru's relentless pursuit of Aika's attention, had me cringing at times - I mean, who hasn't been there, right?

But what really caught me off guard was Wataru's sudden epiphany and decision to move on. I loved how the show explored his journey of self-discovery and growth, as he learned to distance himself from Aika and form connections with others.

And then, just when I thought Wataru had finally moved on, Aika starts sending him mixed signals! I won't lie, it was frustrating to watch at times - I just wanted to scream "make up your minds, guys!"

Despite the frustrating moments, ... I appreciated how the show tackled themes of unrequited love, self-awareness, and the complexities of relationships. The characters were well-developed and relatable, and the animation was lovely.

Overall, I'd give this anime 6/10. It was a sweet, albeit sometimes frustrating, watch. If you're into romance and character development, you might enjoy it. Just be prepared for some emotional whiplash!

This entire anime felt like a drag beyond the first 5 or so episodes. The entire point at the beginning felt like a high schooler trying to get over his long time crush. Trying to be less of a "creep" and more of just an average kid. But the entire rest of the anime was a disaster trying to manage, student council/ethics committee/His sister, Bookstore/Classmate that has zero impact, the middle schooler friend(who they make sexual jokes of, In middle school), and finally FMC. They could have made this entire anime about him getting over the crush and actually doing something else with his life, ... But he folds at every opportunity whenever the FMC is involved. He never tries to take his eyes off the FMC and go for another girl.
Mind you, the entire point is that she has denied him so many times that it is incredibly obvious that she doesn't want to date him, but as soon as he stops she's gone to head over heals for him.
There are very few redeeming moments in this anime, some cute ones, some rushed points.
If you want a time waster, this is a good anime
