Lmao how many more times are they gonna milk ryza.

Still remember Gust making new MC and new settings every game.

Look like they gonna keep "remaking/remastering" old games and keep reusing the same protag like all the other greedy game studios.

This is great news. I really like Atelier Ryza game. I need to continue playing the first game soon while saving up to buy Ryza 3.

I'm wishing Atelier Sophie also gets it own TV anime.

Considering how much impact these thighs had, this anime should have an animator dedicated to working on them alone. Not much else to say to be honest. Most game adaptations are a slog to watch at best. Even Automata turned out to be so banal and uninspired I completely lost interest in it halfway. I wonder if most games have such bad writing or it's just impossible to make an adaptation in most cases in the first place.
It's just that it's hard to adapt most interactive game stories into a linear anime, especially if the game features multiple branching storylines. Shouldn't be much of a problem with this one considering Ryza's story is already fairly linear to begin with.

Well, well, why am I not surprised at all.

Here I thought Atelier Sophie was the most successful of them all.

Unless you wait for the rare KT game sale, be prepared to pay $60 for all of them. Even the first one is still full price.

I'm happy it's getting an anime but i'm not a big fan of Ryza, i liked the Arland trilogy better of Rorona, Totori and Meruru.
But hey any additional atelier content is great news to me, might watch it after it ends airing.

I'd be legitimately surprised if anyone saw this one coming. Seriously, I don't think anyone could have reasonaly expected this to happen. And yes, I do appreciate how they left her OG design (because she has gotten a new design with each game) untouched... though in my case it's the midriff peek she keeps giving us that elevates that design above her other two for me.

Hopefully it's a bit less hypercapitalist than Novice Alchemist ;)

Not exactly my favorite Atelier game as a longtime fan of the series, but interested in this adaptation nevertheless.

Hoping they'd properly adapt the Arland games someday.
