'UniteUp!' Reveals Production Staff, First Promo

The official website for the UniteUp! television anime series revealed on Saturday the production staff, a key visual, and the first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 7 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 followed by HTB Hokkaido TV, MBS, Fukuoka Broadcasting, and Me-Tele.

Those songs in the background - not good at all. It's a pass, but I'll admit I've seen worse character designs.

The studio needs some fast cash.

I can understand their decision in terms of a good studio with good animation. But it also seems strange to me, since previously they mainly created content for the male audience.

The visuals in the pv look good, going to check this out when it comes out. I suppose it remains to be seen if the series can set itself apart from all of the other male idol anime though.
