'Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!' Reveals Additional Cast, Ending Theme Artist

The official website of the Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! (The Eminence in Shadow) television anime revealed three additional cast and the ending theme artist on Friday. The anime series adapting Daisuke Aizawa's comedy fantasy light novel will premiere in October 2022.

Claire Kagenou: Rina Hidaka (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari)

Rose Oriana: Haruka Shiraishi (Golden Kamuy)

Sherry Barnett: Saya Aizawa (Strike the Blood IV)

The ending theme "Darling in the Night" is being performed by Shichikage—formed by the seven female cast members Asami Seto, Inori Minase, Suzuko Mimori, Ai Fairouz, Hisako Kanemoto, Ayaka Asai, and Reina Kondou. Musical unit OxT, formed by Masayoshi Ooishi and Tom-H@ck, is performing the opening theme "HIGHEST."

Kazuya Nakanishi (Comic Girls assistant director) is helming the anime at Nexus (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry). Kanichi Katou (Mashiro no Oto) is handling the series composition and Makoto Iino (Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari) is designing the characters.

Aizawa began penning the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in May 2018. Kadokawa began printing the series under its Enterbrain label in November that year, featuring illustrations by Touzai. The fourth volume went on sale last February 26.

Zeta and Eta have not appeared. In the end of Vol 4, Alpha and Gamma mention that Eta is a mad scientist~

I know that the LN is slightly ahead of the manga, but I think it's crazy that characters which haven't yet appeared in at least the LN already have VAs

Zeta and Eta have not appeared. In the end of Vol 4, Alpha and Gamma mention that Eta is a mad scientist~

They made Claire into someone who looks more mature and an actually oneesan looking girl.
Should've made her look the feel she has in the manga.
But regardless to this, the fact she looks more serious and edger, her cuteness will become enhanced and even more hilarious.
But this is hoping
