'Meitantei Conan: Zero no Tea Time' Reveals Production Staff, Main Cast, Spring 2022 Premiere

The official website of the Meitantei Conan: Zero no Tea Time (Detective Conan: Zero's Tea Time) television anime revealed on Monday the production staff, first key visual (pictured), theme song artists, and Toru Furuya returning as Tooru Amuro as the main character.

The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2022 on Yomiuri TV, Tokyo MX, and BS NTV. Netflix will begin streaming Zero no Tea Time in Japan in the same month, and will also stream worldwide.

Singer RAKURA performs the opening theme "Shooting Star," while Rainy. will perform the ending theme "Find the truth."

The anime series adapts Takahiro Arai's spin-off manga which began serialization in Shounen Sunday in May 2018. Shogakukan shipped the fifth volume on October 18.

Probably because of the lack of a popular character that can turn into a spin-off. For many years the most popular characters in Conan (other than the main cast) have been Heiji, Kid and Haibara. But a Heiji spin-off would just be Conan 2: Osaka Edition, Kid has his own manga before Conan was a thing, and I don't know what would a Haibara spin-off be about.
