'Kyoukai Senki' Second Part Premieres in Spring 2022
The official website of the Kyoukai Senki (AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline) original television anime announced on Wednesday that the second part will premiere in April 2022.
The first part of the mecha anime began airing on October 5 and ended with 13 episodes on Tuesday. Funimation simulcast the anime with English subtitles. BS11 will rerun the first part beginning January 7 at 7:00 p.m., followed by TV Tokyo and MBS.
Nobuyoshi Habara (Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor) helmed the anime at Sunrise Beyond. Noboru Kimura (Gundam Build Divers) handled the series composition, Kenichi Oonuki (Gundam Build Fighters) designed the characters, and Rasmus Faber (Gakusen Toshi Asterisk) composed the music.
Synopsis
Futuristic post-war Japan is divided into four military regions, each led by conflicting nations trying to gain complete control over the country. While the Boundary War—fought with the help of humanoid mecha weapons called AMAIM—has long been over, the rivalry between these factions is still ongoing, and, as a result, the Japanese are heavily oppressed.
Amou Shiiba, a 16-year-old orphan boy who is secretly rebuilding an abandoned AMAIM named Kenbu, stumbles upon Gai, an autonomous AI in need of battery power. By choosing to help one another, Amou and Gai find themselves at the center of a disaster, and Amou is labeled a terrorist and cast out of society. Even so, Amou refuses to remain idle in the face of injustice, and he embarks on a long journey rife with struggle and companionship. His aim transitions from leading a peaceful life to liberating the Japanese people. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Even if this show was garbage, I'd like to see the resolution for the 2nd half.

It's one of these series I forget exist before season even ends. So basically most of the anime in recent years.
@Mrchocoman34 It's not a sequel, just anime studios churning out so much crap, they need to split a season in the middle to meet deadlines. Pretty much everything longer than 13 episodes is like that nowadays.
