Those of you who have read the manga here is it worth it to read It at this point or should I just wait for the animation? Maybe I’ll want to read the manga after the first part is animated. Also does anyone know specifically when it’s supposed to come out I’ve seen multiple sources that claim early summer and some that even say October. Most of them just say 2022 so we know it’s for sure going to be this year at least but anime season is typically in the spring and early summer so I’d be kind of surprised if it came out in the fall. Although maybe it won’t be accessible in the US until then… anyway let me know what you guys think of the manga.
It’s worth to read it and the manga is so good that you can binge it in 2days .
As for the anime it will air in October which is in falls , confirmed by many reliable Twitter sources.
It’s your wish but I will say it will be much fun to read the manga and wait for how amazing your favourite characters and panel’s getting adapted which also a sort of a fun being a manga reader .[/quote
Thank you for letting me know! I will read the manga :)

Damn, they got a quality music director huh. WBULSP was solid, KnK was solid, and Heike Monogatari was great (music wise). For a spit second I thought he was on the original Boogiepop and almost lost my mind, because that one was legitimately awesome.
It seems like this is his first work on a battle shonen, I wonder if he'll move to any other battle shonen projects in the future.

Haven't read the manga for Chainsaw Man, but I've heard a lot of good things about it, so I'm definitely looking forward to the anime adaptation for it! Also, the PV looks great and the staff for Chainsaw Man is pretty stacked ngl
The same here. Trailer looks cool. I'll definitely watch it!

If you like manga then try to read it, but if you don't, I hope you enjoy the anime, because it's truly an incredible series. Lots of turns, fast pacing, and plenty of cool things to look at.

Don't talk if you have no idea about how things work. Most trailers for animes are pre-animated. All of AOT's previous season's trailers were pre-animated, JJK trailer was pre-animated. Let me explain to you what the problem was with AOT. The trailer was pre-animated by a completely different studio and staff, that is the big difference. In this case, this PV is completely animated by the staff of the show just like the JJK trailer. The anime will mostly look exactly like the PV, the staff literally showed you what they are capable of in this teaser. Also, the fact that the staff of the tv show got the extra time to put together a nice PV tells you how good of a schedule they have otherwise this PV would have been outsourced like the AOT one.
There are no doubts this show will be one of the best productions of all time, literally. MAPPA assembled one of the best staff of all time for this, top-tier talent in all departments from the director, action director to art direction and music.
The owner of sakugabooru literally had to call out a bunch of people for spazzing out about the trailer being pre-animated and teach them how exactly it works and that there's nothing to worry about, the show will look close to the PV.
I hope this take ages well. You're well informed, but saying for certain that it will be an all time great makes me nervous, because I want it to be good so badly. However, if it is in fact god tier, I will bust the greatest nut of all time.

Since it's studio Mappa, the best realistic options to hope for would be either Kazuhiro Furuhashi or Keiichi Satou since they both seem to work for them often.
But my guess is it will either be some newbie or the JJK guy or something.

To those saying this is another “generic battle shonen”… you’re off the mark.
A lot of people who read this thought how on earth was this published in Shonen Jump. The fact that it’s moving to Jump+ for part 2 tells you everything. Give it a try. You can just search for some CSM panels on images and see if that’s to your liking.
Oh yes, the "it has blood and gore so its mature hence good" argument. My favorite.
Not sure where you pulled that quote from because I never said that. CSM is more than just blood and gore. I was referring to other larger themes and depictions that are present in the story.

Oh, the "never read the manga so lets spit some dumb crap" argument. My favorite

But anyway I'm still looking forward to Chainsaw man the PV looks amazing and really smooth...the director is new to me, I hope he won't disappoint. Can't wait to hear new musics from Kensuke Ushio, really loved the ost of Nihon Chinbotsu.

From the teaser video it looks like another "Jujutsu Kaisen" with "No guns life" protagonist...
Not sure about this one
Chainsaw Man doesn't actually have that much in common with JJK despite the bigger focus on horror elements. Specially since the writing in CSM is far from the usual Shonen type.
