'Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko' Receives Second Season

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Roy and Ririnra's Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko (By the Grace of the Gods) light novel announced on Friday that it is receiving a second season. The new season will take place three years after the end of the first season. Funimation announced that it will stream the new season.

Yuuji Yanase (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.) helmed the 12-episode television anime adaptation at Maho Film in Fall 2020. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) was in charge of the series composition, and Kaho Deguchi (Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai.) designed the characters. Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Dr. Stone) composed the music.

Roy began penning the fantasy adventure novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in July 2015, garnering over 300 million views. Hobby Japan printed the first volume featuring illustrations by Ririnra in September 2017 and shipped the tenth volume on December 22. J-Novel Club licensed the light novel in English, and published the seventh volume on May 25.

Ranran began serializing a manga adaptation in November 2017 in the Manga UP! application. Square Enix will publish the seventh volume on June 7. Square Enix also licensed the manga in English and published the second volume on May 11.

Synopsis
Deep in the forest, far from any human contact, there lives a child named Ryouma Takebayashi. He engages in the rather strange hobby of keeping various types of slimes as pets. Furthermore, despite his young age, he has a sturdy physique and good compatibility for magic. All of this is because, having endured much hardship in his previous life, three gods grace Ryouma with a second chance to pursue one goal: savor the wonders of life.

After three years of comfortable solitude pass by, Ryouma meets people that will change his current life forever. When he encounters and helps some soldiers tend to their wounded comrade, the group convinces him to accompany them to visit the nearby town's ducal family. Ryouma agrees and soon embarks on a journey to explore the vast world beyond his home. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

The LN is very popular. The manga is very good too. The anime 1st season is extremely average though with the usual low production and rushed story that plague the majority of isekai adaption.

Some might question why this get 2nd season. Even when I'm watching the series, it's also one of those anime only for chill. Of course it's pretty boring without villain or antagonist, but unlike a certain anime I watched, this anime gives me the feeling of wanting to see the next episode. At least it gives me the vibe for me to stay watch. And I'm also curious to see how Ryoma's gonna be 3 years later so it's worth watching season 2 for me! :D

So, we can see Jotaro & Dio's relationship (again) and more humble than before, and Hayamin as Mina from initial D stage 5, while Jotaro & Dio is Ryosuke Takahashi aka Project D leader

kind of unbelievable but i guess trashsekai do well almost no matter what, i thought the first season was not good at all but it's pretty light and chill so i might watch the second season as well, since i'm also trash.
