Yuragi Sou's sales seem to be declining.Looks like people don't seem to like the shonen and action part going on for quite a while now.

snk is not close to one piece we all know that, but in fairness one piece was release on December 4th, while snk was release on December 7th. Which means one piece got 6 days worth of sales while snk got only 3 days worth of sale. Snk definitely going to be top this week over one piece, since one piece has exhausted most of its sales last week.

Owh, One Piece still lead with huge gap from Attack on Titan. So in 2019 fiscal year One Piece still lead Yearly Sale (I predict One Piece will release 4/5 volumes because last year it just release 3 volumes)

Wow Jujutsu Kaisen vol. 3 and it's prequel Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical School are sold more than its Shonen Jump co-title like We Never Learn, Yuragi no Yuuna-san even more than rising title like Dr. Stone. Jujutsu Kaisen definitely is new rising title from Shonen JUMP in 2018 with Act-Age. Even Shonen Jump itself push hard this title with already release 3 manga PV just for Jujutsu Kaisen.

Grand Blue and Black Lagoon getting cold already, sad. Didn't know they were adapting the Bungou Stray Dogs Gaiden, definitely going to read; art looking pretty amazing, even though the artist is nameless. Tensura 190k overall, keep it up.

I heard that sales for food war has drop, plus keep in mind that when these two were release matter as well, because snk sold 500k but that was only 3 days worth of sales, so it could be that slime had more days than food wars. Just throwing that out there.

Don't get me wrong though, I think slime will probably be top 3 or 5 in both manga and light novel sales at the ed of 2019.

Even so this Souma volume arc was pretty bad, an absolute trainwreck and most people dislike it because the turns of events including "The certain someone get defeated by random ass character" .

Not exactly true for an LN adaptation.

Its rather Manga easier to sell than LN.
In terms of Value we know its Anime > Manga > LN.

Since Slime Manga does have good artist and story, one could even say it doesnt even need LN anymore to gain popularity since Manga popularity was far more stronger and thats a rare thing you see this for an LN adaptation(or alternative)
