'Overlord 2' to Premiere for Winter 2018
The wraparound band on the 12th volume of light novel Overlord, which goes on sale on Saturday, has revealed that the previously announced second season will premiere in January 2018. Madhouse will remain as the animation studio for the series.Overlord is written by Kugane Maruyama with illustrations by so-bin. The light novel inspired a 13-episode TV anime adaptation that aired from July to September in 2015.

OPM average disc sales are 10,522 copies while Overlord are 12,693 copies.
