The official Twitter account of Kadokawa's MF Bunko J imprint has announced that Reiji Kaitou
's Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai
light novel will end with the 16th volume, which will be published in two parts on June 25.
Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai
began publishing under the MF Bunko J imprint in November 2009. A manga adaptation
drawn by Hakaru Takagi
has been serialized in Comic Alive
since November 2010. A spin-off manga
drawn by Misato Kamada
ran for two volumes in Comic Gene
between April 2013 and April 2014. The series inspired an anime adaptation
by studio Lerche
in Fall 2013. FUNimation
licensed the anime for North American distribution, and released the series in a Blu-ray and DVD volume in March 2015.
