Smartphone Game 'Yume Oukoku to Nemureru 100-nin no Oujisama' Gets Anime Adaptations

During the Summer Festival held today, it was announced that smartphone game Yume Oukoku to Nemureru 100-nin no Oujisama will receive two anime adaptations. A short anime series will be broadcast in 2017, with a TV anime to be broadcast in 2018. The announcement also includes a new CD series release for the game that includes a drama CD, character songs, and music.

Synopsis
The heroine is a normal girl, until one day she is invited to another world and becomes the princess of the dream world, where people use dreams as the energy to live. One day, the dream world is being attacked by something called "yumekui" ("dream eater"), and many princes are being attacked by it. The heroine must wake them up to save the dream world, as the princes are unable to wake up due to having their dreams stolen.

The complete game cast can be found on the official website. There are some voice actors cast as more than one princes, and also female voice actresses cast as princes.

Yume Oukoku to Nemureru 100-nin no Oujisama is a puzzle RPG game developed by GCRest for iOS and Android. The goal of the game, which is targeted toward female players, is to solve puzzles to wake up their desired prince, who they can then improve their relationship with with via various in-game features.

I haven't seen anything yet but I think it's very likely that they'll go about it like they did with Ozmafia!! for the shorts (i.e. make a 'chibi' anime, as you said). Hopefully they will release at least one /regular/ season though.

Hope so, the game and the CV are awesome, it will be a waste if it's going to be a short or a chink series.

Holy shit!! I'm so excited!! It's one of my all-time favorite games! I'm so glad they're making not only one - but TWO seasons! I doubt they will have the time to feature all the characters and give each one enough screentime, so for now, I'm hoping they'll at least involve my favorites and adapt some important side-stories.

What I wouldn't give for a Mystic Messenger adaptation, but the chances aren't high T__T that said, might actually be difficult to pull it off since the game mostly takes place in a chatroom, which has nothing much to adapt lol

Yo I have no idea what all the drama is about but the great thing is I don't really care much! Just happy to have this. Lowkey hope there won't be too much otome elements but this is just my opinion. I've been heavily losing interest in how people tend to adapt things like that, and especially if it's a mobile game with like almost no existence of a canonical female character then I'd rather they don't exist at all.

But hey that's just me. You know. My extremely personal opinion that I'm not imposing on anyone.

Oh god now that you mentioned it Kuro to Kin was full of some interesting scenes there o_o but I can't complain overall I enjoyed the Ova! xD Are you hoping this anime takes a different path?

@-Janet I didn't see the game but the studio xD The studio did an anime called "Kuro to Kin no Akanai Kagi" that anime is sex shoujo. So I'm bit worried for Trick or Alice. Hope it's not.

Its like a card-collecting game (like love live) but instead of rhythm its a puzzle game (you match stones to defeat the story villains) story-wise its comparable to ensemble stars because of its depth and detail. i started playing this a long time ago (way before the ensemble stars collab) and im really glad its getting an anime. i really hope they do justice to this game.

the gameplay is easy enough to follow even if you dont understand japanese although the individual prince stories are quite nice to read too. i think there are translations of it ?
