'Naruto: Shippuuden - Itachi Shinden-hen ~Hikari to Yami~' Announced for Spring 2016

The official Naruto: Shippuuden anime site announced that a TV series for Itachi titled Naruto: Shippuuden - Itachi Shinden-hen ~Hikari to Yami~ will start in Spring 2016. The series will center around the past life of Itachi, the older brother of Sasuke Uchiha.

there were two arcs on kakashi :)) one was kakashi gaiden (which i REALLY recommend) and the other was kakashi anbu something something ^_^

Ok.. It's another one of those filler arcs again, but g-damn ITACHI SHINDEN IS ACTUALLY GOOD TT_TT

You might appreciate the uchiha's more (?)--- hahahhaaa depends on you :p

Although the uchiha massacre has already been shown in the anime a BILLION of times, i think the filler was able to expand the "watcher's experience". Instead of retelling the massacre in sasuke's or in a third person's pov, you'll finally get to watch and experience the same event with itachi's eyes.

Currently watching the Itachi series.. I think it's really good, especially since he is my favourite character from Naruto. I'm glad they didn't show the Itachi-killing-his-parents part (yet) because I think that scene has been recycled too many times in Naruto. Can't wait for the next episode of Itachi's Story.

I'd be down for this, the antagonists and side characters in this anime were always more intriguing to me, so naturally Itachi is a favourite of mine.
