CLAMP Produces a PV of Hatsune Miku Song As a Voluntary Work
Mugen no Yami -echo of the past (Niconico) (Youtube)
The song was originally composed by a game music artist Hosoe Shinji ("Pop'n Music", "beatmania IIDX"). CLAMP found the song when they were browsing Niconico douga and collaborated with him through the meditation of Mihara Ichiro, the vice president of a game company ARIKA (and the model of CLAMP's character Mihara Ichiro).
CLAMP worked on the movie in their spare time and it took a month to complete it. They said "We work sincerely, and play seriously."

I hate Hatsune Miku, honestly. Not even gonna lie. She's boring, she's shrill and one of her songs might as well be all of her songs, if you ask me. I am strictly a Kagamine Rin/Len supporter and I find the two of them to be much more charming and funny and talented than The Green One.
And now Miku has an anime (Granted it's "Black Rock Shooter" and not the true Miku, but who do you think she's based off of? Same difference, people). She has a satellite, for what reason I don't know, but she does and it scares me. And now, CLAMP is making a promotional video for her? Really? Really.
Well, I am not pleased. Where is the Kagamine anime, the Kagamine PVs being made by official manga-ka groups? Why isn't a huge-ass Road Roller making it's righteous way across our mother-loving planet, utterly destroying every unworthy being and leek-chewing diva that can be found while doing so?
So, two words: Mad sad face.

The voice of Vocaloid sounds somewhat robotic, I guess Hatsune Miku can't replace actual singers yet..

Yeah, Artwork is nice 'n stuff. But am I the only one who thinks that all these Vocaloid songs suck?
I prefer real singers over these stuttering Vocaloids. ° 3 °

WHERE THE FUCK IS MY KAGAMINE MEDIA?!
The black rock character came from a picture that Huke had drawn then was contacted by Ryo and they decided to make a music video using Miku as the vocals so no BRS really is not based off of her people only make that connection due to the video.
The artist who had worked on the cover art does have a vocaloid manga (although is considered unofficial) out with Rin and Len in it quite a bit also do you really care if official mangaka groups work on the PV? It's not like being famous makes you better at creating videos.
So please stop complaining just because your favorite vocaloids didn't get picked for a song that ended up getting a PV by CLAMP.
