It's incredible to see that the first volume of Attack on Titan is still so popular!

All them Attack on Titan's though

Say I Love You & No. 6 are nice surprises for me. Glad to see Kodansha USA getting some success in areas other than shounen/AOT. Shame Food Wars! isn't on the list but 3 weeks on the list without an anime was already pretty impressive. :)

I guess we are back to the same old and boring list

Great to see Monster Musume continuing to be strong in America. We need that anime pronto. Also gad to see DxD climbing it's way up to its rightful place on top.

It's unfortunate. Let's hope when Under the Dog is released it'll destroy the remaining hype for this series.

Under the Dog looks good, but it won't be destroying anything.

it can sell 10 million copies in america if it's not popular in japan it won't get a second season
anime is one those things that america doesn't control

Hmm.. not necessarily. For example, Trigun's sales in Japan were TERRIBLE, but was such a success in America that it got a movie (I think it was a movie). Another recent example is Space Dandy, an anime which was basically made for Western audiences and got to air in the US before it did in Japan.

Hopefully with these sales Monster Musume gets an anime in the future. It's one of my favorite manga right now. :D That and Food Wars!

Nice to see High School DxD vol 2 up there. I read the entire manga in one evening. =)

Happy to see MonMusu still there. Seven Seas recently licensed Okayado's other work, 12 Beast, and it will be released next year. I can't wait for that. =)

I can live with this.

Lots of AoT but I like seeing Say I Love You up there.

Nyahaha, DxD in the top 5, competing with the likes of SAO and AOT. Awesome!

Is it just me or is Monster Musume being a "hit"? It's already the 15th time in the NY Times ranking :o

Excluding the "Maximum Ride" I guess that's normal for the others to be in the top.

Maybe I should give monster musume another shot. Wasn't interested in half pig half human girls, but I'll give it another shot.

The main girls are at this moment a Lamia,Harpy,Centaur,Slime,Mermaid,Spider and Dullahan.
A chapter did show some orcs though, but they played the whole perverted kidnapper type.

Anyway if ye didn't enjoy the beginning I don't think you would like the following chapters.

It has sold over a million already in Japan and Monster Musume success had paved open the road for other works in the genre, heck Monster Musume's author second work has been licensed a few months back.

Monster girls!
No but seriously shame to see Food wars off the list but this list only counts paper editions right ?
If so... Food Wars vol 1 was available months ago so that must have cut into the paper market.
