Hang in there, Devils and Realist!!!

+1, if only we could have an anime sequel which is close to impossible. Despite all the shounen ai undertone it does have a pretty decent story.

Yeah, a season 2 of the Anime is close to impossible :/ Well, I'll just read the Manga.
I agree, and I like the name Solomon ahahaha.

So what do you guys want them to do? sell some unknown manga that will probably not sell well? They probably are selling other manga but they're not selling that well to make the top 10.

It all comes down to good marketing and popularity of the manga. If it's not widely known it wont sell well, therefore other manga series need a anime adoption or better marketing to advertise the manga, the more people that know about it, the better chances of it selling well. That's just how things run in business.

^ +1 Likes it or not, that's the way the industry works and it will always be that way. You want the company to bring in more title? Well, they need the cash first.

In fact, we should all be happy that manga industry are in fact booming now thanks to Snk sales. Why? It keeps the industry alive which also means that more manga publisher may consider bringing in new titles to the U.S. I remember reading a report somewhere recently that the series has been helping the manga publisher Kondansha to gain revenue for the first time in 19 years and that obviously wasn't an easy feat. While the popularity of anime and manga kept on rising, it doesn't change the fact that it is still a relatively niche market. Manga has never been popular in the U.S (aside from the big 3) and it doesn't help with the fact that most people read them online because A) Why buy it when you can read it online for free? B) No access to local manga store C) Doesn't like any of them enough to buy them. There has always been on-going concerns about the low sales of manga in the U.S when compared to other countries in Europe or Asia.

At least SAO and Fairy Tail are up there, can't say I like the others but SnK's success is staggering, not that surprising considering it's basically the Bayformers of manga. Must check out Devils and Realist and the Wolf Children manga at some point

While I'm happy that SnK is gaining traction in the US, I'm a bit scared this will pressurize the mangaka even more to tweak the manga ending to satisfy an international audience. :/
