Korean Drama Winter Sonata goes anime
The hit Korean television drama, Winter Sonata (also known as Winter Love Song), will be receiving an animated version. Originally shown in 2002 in South Korea, the show aired in Japan in 2004 on the NHK network, receiving high ratings and helping to further the wave of Korean pop culture found in Japan.
Japanese entertainment company Total Promotion has already secured the rights to create the television animation.

Golly, seems like their adapting anything they can into anime, not that that's a problem of course. ^^ WS is definitely a classic tear-jerking drama but I didn't like the ending so much. Hopefully, they'll do something about that. XD

mmmm...awesome...my favorite asian drama getting an anime adaptation? i think my top five favorite anime series will soon be changing again... ^^ i hope it just lives up to all the great memories i had watching the drama...
