The publisher MediaWorks has announced that Yusaku Igurashi's romance comedy light novel, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, will be adapted into both a CD Drama and television anime series for 2008. The announcement came from Dengeki's 15th Anniversary Stage Show event on Sunday. Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu is Yusaku Igurashi's debut work as a novelist.

Munenori Nawa (D.C.S.S. ~Da Capo Second Season~) will direct the scripts, edited by Tsuyoshi Tama (episode scriptwriter on Azumanga Daioh, Chobits). Satoshi Ishino (Excel Saga) will adapt the original character designs from the novel volumes' illustrator, Shaa (Kyōhaku Dogs). Mamiko Noto (X television series' Kotori) leads the cast in both the drama CD and the anime as Haruka, while Wataru Hatano (Toward the Terra's Sam) will play Yūto.
