4-koma Manga 'Falcom Gakuen' to be Animated

According to the official Twitter of game company Falcom, 4-koma manga "Minna Atsumare! Falcom Gakuen" is to get an anime adaptation. The manga is a slice-of-life, comedy manga in which characters from various games released by Falcom (e.g., Dragon Slayer, The Legend of Heroes, and Ys series) come together in a school. The manga is serialized in Falcom's own game magazine "Monthly Falcom Magazine" and so far two volumes have been published. Schedule, format, staff, and cast information have not been disclosed yet.

The article also mentions another studio: Chara-Ani (which is part of Kadokawa group). So the anime will be a joint production.

This got me so excited I had to change my pants.
Then I read "Slice of Life" and made a completely different kind of mess.
Seriously, Falcom, it isn't bad enough the next Kiseki is modern-anime-cliche-highschool pandering, you have to throw slice of life at us too?

You make it sound like as if they're targeting the anime at ppl outside of Japan too o.O

At this point, its really hard to see Ao, Zero and Sen getting localized, so I'm pretty sure that they dont really care about ppl outside of Japan getting the non-localized character references.

Ugh I hope to god the comedy won't be as bad as Tales of Gekijou. Also seeing how this takes characters from non-localized games I don't see how anyone is going to be able to catch the references.

His voice is actually decent if he doesn't play the faggot mc role. Listen to his Josuke Higashitaka voice in the Jojo's All Star Battle game it suits him pretty well. Hate the character, not the voice actor.
