According to C21Media, "Pretty Cure" will be aired in Canada on YTV channel in the first quarter of 2009.
The names of the main characters will be changed to Natalie and Hannah. The airing license of Pretty Cure series in North America had been held by 4Kids Entertainment, but 4Kids reduced the number of anime programs for small girls and gave up airing Pretty Cure. After 4Kids' decision, Toei Animation had been seeking a way to air Pretty Cure series in North America.

I am surprised that there is a YTV in Canada, but it probably don't mean Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation. Yukana is the seiyuu of the JP version's main character, but I didn't watched Pretty Cure. I don't like the character designs...

Man what is up with the changing of names of main characters?
It's the 4Kids way. And in Toei's case, well... they have no idea what they're doing half the time anyway.
