It has been officially announced that Death Note will air on Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network. Watch the first ep. October 20 at midnight.

wa! Its too bad... for me becouse I live in Mexico and in cartoon network of Mexico the animes that pass are censured, and isnt adult swim, is toonami. I lke to hear the voices of ryuk and L in Engish

That's most likely Boondocks before Death Note.

And with Bleach, you're probably right: [adult swim] either only acquired the first 52 episodes or the dub does not have enough new episodes at the current time for the network to air a whole chunk of them at once.

Bleach will be back, as it was a success by [adult swim] anime ratings' standards.

As long as they keep the first opening, I'll at least watch that... I liked the song for it and the way it made the death note seem like some forbidden fruit that Light was taking a bite out of. :P

But the dub will most likely be good; I've never had a problem with Adult Swim dubs.

It was long ago revealed that the actors used in that teaser trailer are NOT the final voice cast for the dub.
