The trailer makes it seem like a hilarious show! I'm so watching it~~!! It's totally a different genre from fullmetal but it still seems like an awesome show! the ratings for the manga are also really good in Japan

Educational manga is always great for me.

don't know if some of you only like the Mainstream battle or fighting Action genre.

Silver Spoon is a huge blunder on her part. Its good if you need a mindless timesink to run in background, because if its anything like the abysmal manga of the same title, then the entire run will consist of 24 minute episodes of NOTHING happening at all.
Coming from you, this means it must be a manga for me LOL LOL

No it won't.

Silver Spoon is a huge blunder on her part. Its good if you need a mindless timesink to run in background, because if its anything like the abysmal manga of the same title, then the entire run will consist of 24 minute episodes of NOTHING happening at all.

Unless you have an INCREDIBLE interest in agriculture(read: you failed to graduate in anything that matters or is remotely interesting and thus chose the easiest and most boring path of life ever), this will put you to sleep.

All hope is lost, friends. What would've been an eye-opening anime to a huge audience on how interesting and complex agricultural farming is, and even gives a legitimate reason why the manga is selling like hotcakes, will not be able to reach its highest quality anymore. I'm crossing my fingers on the adaptation still being faithful (which it should, for christssake), but I can't shake the doubt that it will still be watered down.

Why does this have to happen to my favourite manga, when an equally famous SnK (in Japan, at least) has it good for its anime? :(

A-1 will be animating it, and the director will be Tomohiko Itou, mainly known for Sword Art Online.

Confirmed this anime will start to air in July.

Lets just hope whoever picks this anime up does not trip up like BONES did, and make an anime only ending like another certain series. Fans of Hiromu's work do not deserve that again.

This is a great thing. I am ecstatic. Faith in humanity +1. This is a fantastic manga. I can't wait to see how the anime turns out. I'm glad that there's a high enough number of people that aren't too unfocused to read something that isn't FLASHY FLASHY DIE DIE once in awhile.

Not sure if I will watch this. Depsite the fact that FMA is my absolute favorite, I can't really get in to Slice of Life genre. Additionally, the setting is kind of bland to me. But of course Akarawa-sensei is very good with chracter-driven story so I may end up liking it.
Btw, some people wonder if its too soon for an anime. I'm confient Akarawa will make sure that it stay as close to the original manga as possible

Well maybe I'm the only one, but I like this manga more than fma, even though I put fma 10/10 rate, this setting seems to me like more comfortable for Arakawa and some of fighting shounen stuff in fma wasn't pulled off that good in my opinion (I just had to close my eyes on it). But anime will not necessarily be my favourite of course, they can pull it off great or they can blow it up, as a fan of manga I will watch it anyway of course.
