This seems a much more sensible way of trying to sell a series than trailers, which never ever convey any actual information about whatever it is they're trailing, and sometimes completely missell them. They ought to do this with films too; I saw a complete 5-minute scene from the beginning of Postal on the web recently (damn funny, amazingly) and I'm much more interested in seeing it once it comes out here now than I was when I'd only seen the underwhelming traditional trailer. Still, in the case of anime they should put up a sub version and a dub version (or can you do dual audio/softsubs via flash?) so everyone's happy.

You shouldn't need to do anything in order to view it from ADV's free page. If you want to purchase episode from other pages then you need to register. The only thing I encountered was a flash player upgrade download needed to view episode one. But thats just to play the video since it is all flash.

Despite owning more than my own body weight in LEGAL anime I still watch it in the original japanese. Not out of purist sense but because the original voice actors usually(not always) put more emotion into the role than most english voice actors.

Is true, hence why I watch mainly watch subbed.
SO everyone better get off their snotty high horse. An opinion is just an opinion. You have yours and there are quite a few others who think the opposite.
exactly. thats the whole reason arguments start
I probably own more official US release copies of anime then you two have even seen in total.
not much of an acomplishment to say to someone who just became interested in anime 6 months ago but w/e, to be honest I could care less about how much you've watched, or if you own/have seen more than me.
a single forum post, but basically describes most anime fans...

I like ADV dubs, Chrno Crusade & FMP were awesome. This one is alright. Sometimes the mouth flaps don't fit perfectly but all the dialogue made sense.

I liked Chrno but not too keen on FMP.I know what you mean about the mouth flaps but surprisingly it seems that the dubs match up better than the original in most series.

Why don't you all put a cork in it, the director of this series is an awesome voice director, not to mention I love the awesomeness of the opening. This series was meant for English anyway It takes place in New York and the Names of the characters in English. So it feels more right.

have to agree, i really hate all the super sub purists who allways bash dubs without even watching them -_-
seriously, why watch a show that takes place in new york, with all american character in Japanese? it really doesn't seem as "authentic" as hearing it in the language its supposed to be in.
also, as supposed to fansubs, this is actually LEGAL!

Yeah, ADV =dubbed by bad voice actors.
All I can say is that I love all the fansubbers out there.
But a lot of people don't think that way.
