Hmm... The conventional wisdom among Japan fans is that comparing the sales average between a 1-cour and a 2-cour show is not really fair because sales expectation indeed trends downwards throughout the length of a series so the risk is that the sales average would be lower for a 2-cour series. It is one major reason quoted when fans argue that SAO sales average may not beat IS at the end as SAO is 2-cour while IS is 1-cour.

I'm guessing 2.5-5k for sakurasou. It's barely at 1k estimate atm, but that's likely due to it not releasing until end of Jan.

As for Little Busters, going by current estimates, ranking and taking other retailers into account, I'm guessing 5-7.5k. It could pick up as release gets closer so we'll just have to wait and see.

Decently enough. It's not a mega-hit but it's easily selling enough to be making profit.

It gave the source material a bit of a boost too - probably about 25-35k copies over the first 2 months for the earlier volumes and about 20k-30k for the later ones (note: figures very approximate as I don't have any actual sales figures, just ranks).

On a slightly different topic...

It seems like most shows other than Girls und Panzer are starting to tail off this season... nothing else is really getting into the top 50 while GuP is sticking around the #10 mark. Is it really going to be the big seller of the season? I keep on expecting it to fall but it never does..

Have you been watching a different show to me?

And anyway, Teekyuu was added a lot later than all the other anime (it's been on amazon less than a week). So it's probably just an initial rush. Plus the entire season is in a single volume.

Pretty slow week.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see K ranking in random weeks leading up to the end of the season since there's still 6 eps left.

Kaibutsu-kun...for some reason I can't see it being a store front title....its not exactly aimed at otaku or fujoshi. I have a bad feeling that what we're seeing on Stalker is the only sales it'll get. :/
