Cosplay Event In Japan Gets Suspended
The park is very popular with young people because of the cosplay competitions, which are held many times a year.
Since the park is owned by the prefectural government, they are asking the park wardens to look into the incident to see whether or not the event should be restored.
This is not the first time a complaint has been made against the cosplay events. Last summer an elderly woman called the agricultural policy planning department to ask why the event (that attracts young people) was held at a place where people of all ages go to enjoy the flowers.

hana yori cosplay :P
Actually I kinda agree that if the cosplayers were being disrespectful to the flowers then the event probably should be moved. Or at least better organised so that Cosplayers don't wreck the flowers.
Old people like to complain though.
I mean, it is like when we had a cosplay gathering in a shopping centre. There were like 50 cosplayers and we got kicked out because 2 people were a bit excited and some people complained and were offended by our costumes.
So we got kicked out of the place an hour and a half into our day out. So we ended up going to Newcastle instead and wandered around town. We even got to pose for pictures because people loved our costumes.
A bit off topic there, but yeah, maybe some of the cosplayers could have complimented the flowers. I mean, some cosplays are gorgeous and would have looked nice amongst the flowers :)

I mean, isn't cool just giving them a warning, it's not like young people don't listen to reasons ==

I wonder if the flowers are the ones doing the cosplay, what will the old people say? o_O
Inappropriate behaving. The flowers would be setting bad example for young people so gardeners would be called.
Those blossoming hooligans.
And if they were stepping on people, that would be serious business.

There were probably a couple of idiots that ruined it for everyone~ Thats all...
I can't stand people that vandalize~ Even if it is just flowers :/
And a park like that is probably a poor location to plan something as rowdy as a cosplay event...
That would be pretty epicXD

Flowers can be mobile if their in pots ^_^
Plus if plants and flowers could move about on their own they might be dangerous (*cough*Day of the Triffids*cough*)!! ;)
