TV Anime of Manga 'Saki: Achiga-hen' Due in Spring 2012
According to Shonen GanGan magazine, a TV anime of Saki: Achiga-hen episode of side-A, a spin-off manga of Saki, was announced. It will be aired next Spring.

At chapter 3, the manga is already epic. This is going to be an awesome adaptation, since it's the same production staff.

I'm sad that this isn't a continuation from the first Saki series but I'm still willing to give it a shot.

I was hoping for a sequel to the original series, but I guess there isn't enough material to make a full-blown series yet. This isn't bad either though, the manga was pretty interesting. I'm still hoping they're gonna announce the sequel by the end of the show.
