Light Novel 'Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai!' To Be Animated

According to Shueisha Super Dash Bunko, Matsu Tomohiro's light novel "Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! (Listen to me girls, I am your father!)" was announced to get an anime adaptation. Two manga adaptations will be serialized in Jump Square and Cookie magazines from this month.

Synopsis:
Segawa Yuta is a freshman of a university. He lost his parents when he was small and was raised by his sister Yuri. Yuta has been living alone since Yuri got married to a middle aged man when Yuta was a junior high student. One day, Yuri visited Yuta's apartment and asked him to take care of her three daughters while Yuri and her husband were on a trip. He unwillingly accepted the job but the plane Yuri took went missing. In order to prevent the daughters from being adopted separately by the relatives, Yuta decided to take in all the three girls. A life of a strange family in a tiny apartment begins. (The elder two of the daughters are stepchildren of Yuri's husband. The smallest one is Yuri's child.)

This could be good I glad that everyone is saying it not a harem. I would prefer this to be a heartwarming series like usagi drop... Lets hope..

The Haruhi clone is pretty cute. So I'll let it slide in turn for a good animation, character design, and story.

I'll put this on my "planned to watch" list.

I'm not bothered by the "Haruhi clone". 90% of anime character designes are so uninspired, that they are simply all similar to each other.

Compared to that, it's a step forward when a character is unique enough, that she can only be compared to ONE single other character. (Well, two if you count Yurippe).

Maybe the Haruhi-style character is on it's way to become a generic character archetype.

I've read the 1st, 2nd and 3rd volume and to me, its not those generic harem stuff that you'll get from light novels. Its really heartwarming with lots of romance, comedy etc...

What's more, this reminds me of Usagi drop.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this series.

The illustrations are by some female artist. Anyways, I read up to volume 5 and its not about harem. There's some realistic elements of raising three children and the difficulties that comes with it. There's comical moments and a gag fatso lolicon character(lol), a cool beauty who likes cute stuff, a bishounen with the charm to woo a girl and the personality of a saint with the ability to cook. The only person that's "normal/average" is again, the main character XDDDD.
