I really went from feeling bad for Sakura and not understanding Hoegetsu one bit to now really loving the mind of Hoegetsu and hoping Sakura eases up. Really chill but addicting. Not as intoxicating as Citrus' melodrama, but this is right behind it in pure enjoyment.

I couldn't wait for the anime so I read first book. The anime seems to be cutting out little details about characters. From reading apparently for Lilia to romance Claude it has to be on New Game +. Pretty interesting little detail. Want to understand who Issac is as well.

I love that this makes the "protagonist" look like a homewrecker which they would be if not in a game. Instead of meeting the "villainess" at a school festival he has a party for two on the roof of his mansion with the protagonist.

The anime completely ruined the confrontation of Lilia and Claude on the night of the soiree.

Finished first book. Wow, it got intense. Awful post-apocalyptic B-movies don't pull the rape card out this quick.

I was pretty mad at the rape thing, but the other books have been good. They have avoided the same mistake. The 4th book has plenty of Lilia and Selena, so it was great.

If it had ended with the authors death I'd give it a 10, but since still going it's graded like everything else. Kind of wish it had ended right about now (Don't remember what this was in reference to...I guess the complete destruction of Elfheim and Isma maybe?). I'm relieved Casca doesn't want to be there. I have been worried that the person she has "wanted to see" has been Griffith for a very, very long time because Miura knows how to hurt me. People seem to find a lot of relief from trauma and hope in Berserk, which is great, but I just don't think it has ended yet. I don't think Berserk is all dark, but I find it hard to see a happy ending for Guts. The best I can imagine is he at least takes Griffith down with him. Maybe his brain kept alive in a jar will find peace or some shit.

So apparently here are little bonus chapters where they talk and get to know each other and it makes the relationship make more sense. It is kinda weird that they don't seem to be in the volumes, but they also seem out of order. I've read everything that's been available to me, so I've done my due diligence. They really sexualize Anna. Especially in these extras. It's kinda creepy.

Seeing everyone together again made my eyes well up a bit. No tears, but juicy eyeballs. I don't give this mangaka proper respect for his artwork. Crazy level of detail.

Main gal started trifling. Not rooting for her anymore. He's rebuffed the two other girls so the author really needs to make me like whats-her-name again. The guy in this is a saint.

This manga takes more breaks than any other and it's bi-weekly. Really makes the weekly mangaka all the more impressive.

3rd best teasing manga

This keeps pleasantly surprising me. Never makes the safe choice or at least the choice seen time and time again. Love that his secret came out early, so he's not just a superhero cliche. It seems like it should be filled with annoying machismo characters, but it always avoids doing so. Extremely impressive.

I hate Hiro and Nagi. I hope they end up together. Truly deserve the loveless marriage they'll get. I do really like this manga though. It's good hate. I kinda don't care anymore. I don't really care about the brother, and since Nagi chose Hiro it should be over.

The peak is start of 2nd year with the intro of Manbagi and up to around the dance. Oh shit that's wrong. That's just when Komi finds out about the triangle. It isn't until they are back from New York that shit hits the fan. Then, Manbagi kinda falls off and it is a real shame. They seem to be trying to set her up with soccer guy.

The last thing I remember seemed to be Usopp going through an underground tunnel with little people. Weird that I don't remember Robin. Started reading where the 2nd season of anime ends.

Of the web comic the hero/demon association battle with Genos is happening at ch 75. Just interesting. Its got another 70 chapters.

It has gone way past just being a reverse harem story. Most of those OG characters don't really have reasons to show up in the books anymore. The build up between Katarina and Maria is really good.

I have loved this series, but the ending of book 3 was a bit odd with a seemingly forced engagement. It could have been nice, but no. He doesn't write relationships well. There were some creepy guys in the 4th book that wanted to drug a girl and rape her, but they got raped instead. It was wholly unnecessary and just made the author seem homophobic. I think it was meant to come off more as a karmic revenge thing, but was just tasteless. It wasn't needed for the plot at all.

Leon is being less and less of a hero. He's let people get raped and tortured for failing to act.

He's becoming unbearable frankly. Unlovable, wishy-washy, and completely powerless without Luxion, but never thanks it. The harem aspect is becoming too outlandish. I want to reiterate the first 3 volumes were great. If Marie wasn't holding this republic arc together it would be hard to finish.

Loic better not become a character. He beat the piss out of Noelle. He really killed some of the more respectable bad guys all things considered. The true villains are MIA or alive and well.

Vol 8 has no Marie and made me hate Angie. Great Job!

Finally found a translation! Is it a good translation? It is the tiniest bit awkward, but hoping for an official is unlikely.

Since it turned out the bad guy was his bully in kendo who apparently murdered his mom it has been indefensible.

Gonna start at chapter 82 where the ending of the season 2 anime leaves off halfway through.

This has so much potenital, but it always falls flat. All the characters are garbage except Mary, Emilico, Rum, and Shaun. The bad guy duo of Edward and Maryrose was lackluster in seasons 1 and 2. Why can't people just help each other out?

It's gotten a lot better or I've taken to the manga more. Things are happening and I can follow the natural progression of things since switching over to the manga.

Also most importantly I'm growing fonder of all the characters besides the four I mentioned previously. That really helps. Barbie is a jerk though. Don't feel for her in the slightest. Maybe I'm coming around. She does have shark teeth. Yeah, her rehabilitation is complete and reminded me of how I should be thinking about myself.

The biweekly schedule for this manga makes it a drag now that I'm caught up. More so than usual. I care more about the characters than the cosplay. Oshi no Ko does a better job of making things I have no interest in interesting.

Man, I was really looking forward to the Akira plot, and I feel betrayed. Well it was handled well, but man do I feel dumb. It's been like 9 months of anticipation.

The rape is the worse crime than not having the 15 year old get blood on his hands. Things have finally started. I hope muscle girl is alive. All the kids from the facility are all dead or dying. It's tying up loose ends too quickly. Final showdown with Robin. Whoopee.

After enjoying the anime of Clueless Friend so much I feel like the author can easily write simple but emotionally engaging stories. This has some devastating potential.

I tried to start reading this today, but the people who did the fan translation (Oak and Stick) didn't bother translating everything and Mangamo has it on lock. Not sure how to read quite yet. Seems fine on Mangadex.

Want to read but translations are fan only and kind of bad. Art is devastatingly beautiful when it shows faces. It can be pretty muddled during action though.

It's sloppy, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued. I'm confused, but that could be the translations fault in some instances.

The bunny girl leader was a bad mystery according to Umineko. They never really introduced that character.

Aqua doesn't deserve Kana.

Could care less about entertainment industry, but this makes everything interesting and easily digestible.

I can't predict where this will go or what will happen. It's shocked me more than once.

That was out of character for Kana since she is so smart, but I guess she was the only one who it could be. Mem-cho is 30-something and would get in more trouble for that, and Ruby has to be the golden girl for the story to progress. Akasaka had to sacrifice someone and she was the only one available. She would be the most likely to survive something like this too since she has other accomplishments under her belt and is so willful.

I liked the anime more than I thought I would, and the manga has ended. I wanted to read it all since it was all out. It can be very funny, but most of the time it does the same thing over and over again. When you guess correctly what Raidou is thinking it does feel pretty good. I love how the artist draws tears.

Movie made the necessary edits to this story.

You should scrap the town tradition that got a heroic young man killed and then you shouldn't cover it up from his younger brother especially.

Consistently funny with amazing characters, but the seeds planted throughout never fruited in the end. Her being an alien, Venus, the rocket, the tengu, her brother, what the mayor was, etc.

This started out fun, but got too real. The manga about the super sweaty girl and the man that loved her didn't have to be quite so dramatic.

All the problems were because of the female lead, which I felt was unfair of the author. Male lead was portrayed as a very successful perfect man whose only downsides were being bad at sports involving balls in particular and getting jealous once.

I'll be real, the last 3-4 volumes haven't been as funny as the first half in the least, but I am still enjoying it immensely. It kinda did the Watamote thing were it became a bigger thing than the creators probably expected when they started it. Kaguya got more dramatic as well the closer it got to the end. Kasumi was always the least interesting, but it doesn't seem like Suzukawa liked her much either because she becomes unbearable. Funny, but at her expense.

It did sort of end with a whimper, but god knows what could be done. Such is the fate of comedies.

Some of his best and Principal Post is probably his worst. I know a lot of these, so rating is kinda tough. My rating of Gyo for example takes into account Amigara Fault.

Was more sci-fi than horror. It ended just when it should have started. Like if Oshi no Ko ended after Ai's death. Wasted potential.

Okay, I actually liked the characters and where it was going at first. It was disturbing, but interesting. The kids were cute despite the murder. That ending with the Yakuza just felt so forced and the 2 guys never should have shown up. The teacher really lived a hard life, so she isn't an ultimate evil to me at all. Giving her a Freddy or Jason ending is weird. Like the townspeople were more guilty than anyone at the school.

My favorite dramatic love story.

Had some pretty art, and the characters were average, but the romance was bullshit. Such an overplayed premise. Elfen Lied with an old guy who teaches you how to make a BLT for some reason. Babies can make a BLT right after birth.

The more I think about it the less I like it as a whole. It was great while reading it, but that last volume is a separate side story and an ending I didn't care about. What happened to the Ontan we spent the entire series with through two parallel worlds? Lot of characters that didn't need to be there and side stories that didn't need to be told. Aliens could parasite humans and it only happened twice. The gun was a red herring. Why would she fall in love with the alien? It was maybe more fly by the seat of your pants than I was expecting.

So, Dedede sort of fell apart at the end and when that fell apart everything previously did too.

This was really building up well, but the final fight was dumb. Hard to know when people were being controlled.

Started reading to see if it's better than anime. Still haven't caught up to as far as I got in anime. Still don't agree with wasting wish on grandpa, but his dependence on someone's "chains" as the reason why was left out of anime which is pretty important. Also there was a girl that was written out of anime. She appears every once in a while. Even her older psychic cop sister did.

I made this greater than it was in my head. It must have been really something to get an anime 12 years later I thought. A timeless classic. It seems really dated though. Maybe if I had read this in 2005 it would have been something, but too much great stuff has come out since then.

All the drama is half-baked. Seems kinda like he could have used his wish on Samidare from the beginning.

Things kinda picked up in volumes 7 and 8. Felt like real emotions were being expressed.

Super lame bad guy. It ended well enough, but the deaths didn't need to happen. Or more should have died. It was a weird amount of deaths really early on.

Iso sad it's over. It was always great. Akasaka is retiring from specifically drawing manga. I noticed that perspective was a bit off on the final chapters. He must be really sick of drawing. I'll miss his style, but as long as he still has stories to share I'm happy.

Fucking Hedwig Origin of Love looking ass cartoon. I thought it was showing how indifferent the world was to suffering. Then, it just went into Jesus parallels and I don't know what the back half was supposed to signify.

In Vol 10 they graduate from school and all the girls go their separate ways. The girls we all like. Even Miyata is just there in the background. I can kind of see why this was cancelled. Had a woman in a wheelchair for an ass injury lol. They did eventually bring just about everyone back in one way or another, but too many characters, not enough time.

Yeah, it had to be cancelled. Ch 113 should have given the author the death penalty. It started earnestly for god's sake. War crimes galore. Some parts are genius though that something like Parallel Paradise could only dream of doing. It's a mASSterpiece. OMG that's the greatest/funniest ending I've ever seen.

Well, the epilogue was kinda lame. I like how popular Aoba was, but the writer took a dump on the MCs chest. Who was the prize queen 3 years later? Just odd.

After looking at it again it probably meant three years after Nozomi and Miyata met at the practice grounds. So everything makes a lot more sense. The ones who got screwed the most were probably Kawai and Shirayuki.

Just all around upsetting. Truly the largest scum in all of fiction and nonfiction for you to feast your eyes on. Kind of makes Oldboy seem a bit less novel with a classmate unintentionally causing great mental distress to a crazy person. Junji Ito's work elevated it. Thomas read the novel and hated it. I get it. This was probably the better way to consume a psychopath's narcissistic ramblings. The novel would have been unbearable.

Very good, but very upsetting. There was no good reason for the promise to mean as much as it did. If there was, it wasn't clearly laid out. If anything it seemed like she didn't want him around. Was she ever in America? Was that to hide the fact she was in prison or dead? I would have killed the pimp too, but more-so the mother who sold him to the pimp.

He really made me hate him at the end. Anime was better. The thing that made me hate him was not shown in anime.

I don't know if this guy gets that she is worse off than him. Maybe I don't get it. 4th volume doesn't make a lot of sense to me since it is about why he did what he did. It is clear this was never a kidnapping though, so that makes the beginning seem like a lie. The detective's luck is too good. He has no reason to think it is a kidnapping on the word of parents he knows are abusive and a teacher who he knows is a pedophile. I guess he has white knight syndrome. This isn't breaking any rules and things have been consistent in terms of luck with all main characters I suppose. Never mind detective has just that much more luck.

I don't get why she wants to be a murderer since they have committed zero crimes. Well if all the luck brought us here it was worth it. This is purdy good.

I don't have any sympathy for a homeless man who started raising a baby. I also don't have sympathy to people who let the cycle of abuse continue.

I kinda prepared myself for Mister to die. I kinda just wanted Sachi to make it for sure. I think the overall makes up for some of the early problems I had with this. Sachi had inconsistent intelligence, but it was much better than the little girl from Sugar Happy Life.

Just a terrible story brought to life, but that was the point. It's amazing what we learn to put up with. Even when we get out of terrible situations we feel like maybe we made a mistake. At least I do.

I only care about the Leito part of the story so it's rough, but I really hope that nurse gets some D. I feel bad for her. Ending felt super rushed, but why did they even bother with After World in the first place? Why did they bother with this at all?

I loved it until around after the gymnasium. That was the highlight. Or at least until the Dr wasn't the big bad or even the god itself. The bad guy reveal was uninspiring. Watching the anime now with bro to see if I was too harsh cause this was a good story. Just felt it fumbled the back half.

Wanted to see how the story finished and I didn't expect the anime to come back. Ch 147 seemed like the official ending.

Characters just kept appearing and disappearing. Main characters got unsatisfying conclusions if they were not Noah and Raeliana. The Shamall siblings, random royals, popping up here and there. Not sure if I even understand what happened. I guess there was a goddess and a dark priestess. What did she have to do with giving that King concubine a child? What was up with Noah's mother? Why she poison brother? Why was Vivian in Beatrice's pocket? That flies in the face of who her character was. Nothing was concluded with the old royals and the new royals. This goes every which way and did not need an anime. It was enjoyable enough I guess.

I'm not sure I get why it ended. Chapters still seem to be coming out.

Lots of loose ends on an otherwise perfect manga with some of the most pleasing characters ever that never got enough page time. Chronoire got lost along the way.

Sadly, Takamiya never really seemed that into Kagari except as a kid. Why so outgoing as a young boy, but a thumb as a teenager? I get memories were erased, but I would think personality wouldn't be effected. Feel bad for Kagari.

Skipped first 2 books. Started on Book 3 after anime completed. It's on hiatus, so the last book I am on will prolly end of cliffhanger.

No English translation for LN. Only WN and it is rough to say the least. Gonna use this for my WN progress. I have read in WN as far as manga goes.

The WN is very dry. It is mainly Makoto's POV (The Boringest POV) which is very dry, many wry smiles, hand-wringing, and all the interesting things occuring off screen. The Rotsgard Academy secret society arc just ended in torture apparently. No followup. The anime and manga fill in all the other characters and story elements. Also apparently Tree Punishment is no big dealio anymore. It's such a shame because I want this story so badly, but I may be dead before it's all drawn out or animated. It isn't a great translation, but it made sense because of the anime and manga I have read before it filling in the gaps.

An interesting murder mystery/forbidden love story that turned into a fighting shounen. I hardly want to finish. Did the editor force her to change direction or something?

Louis and Legosi aren't equals. Louis SUX. Read the ending and hoo boy am I glad I dropped.

"Scary faces" made me laugh. Couldn't understand motivations. Written in more of a stream of consciousness way and I don't think I was ever properly on board. Mom does what she wants when she wants. End of story.

The imouto rape/murder made me throw in the towel. Horror/Gore should be scary/fun. Things like rape are a cheat code to making an audience feel uncomfortable and it's lazy as hell. Used rape at least once in every story. Main characters made me sleepy. I liked the gal classmate, but why continue to just see her most likely raped and murdered eventually?

Went from wrestling rape, to an earth-wide gang rape, then to straight up child abuse. Even if it hadn't gotten that extreme the space baby part was atrocious. It was just The Drifting Classroom all over again. We get it, you don't like adults, Japanese Michael Jackson. The world leader stuff was so preachy and long-winded too. At the conclusion, it was stated that humans were in fact not the cause for the end of the world. Why all the preaching then?

They started with a scarecrow. There is nothing to see here. The atmosphere was good, but boy, what a nut shot of terrible.

For some reason I'm getting goosebumps, but nothing happens. Giant face just looked in their direction. For some reason in Japan sometimes seeing a thing is scary. In the US, the bad things that happen to you are scary. Like injury or death. The US is right in this regard. If nothing bad happens you could easily just forget about it.

The sudden big faces on the next page are unnerving, but that is the equivalent of a jump scare in book form. I was afraid of giant floating faces as a really young kid though. That's kinda funny.

I skimmed through it, but this is the kinda stuff that makes me feel gross. Go innocent or go hentai. Don't half ass. Looked like the ending half-assed too. Can't give an official score, but it would be in 4-6 range.

Tried to look at the end to see if things developed and the last chapter was about his daughter. Looks like I missed a bullet to the temple.

I read where it ended after anime, but I started re-reading along with LNs on 2-Nov-2022 and caught up to where it is in EN at the time.

I'm gonna drop because with the LN I am far and away from where this manga is. He's already gone to another country and come back. This has nothing to do with quality. It is just unnecessary rework on my part considering season 2 of the anime will cover where this is as well. I may one day skim over artwork, but who knows when it will end. Nice Angie and Livia sleeping in underwear art is highlight.

Just read the first and last chapter since it got cancelled kinda brutally.

Caught my eye for some reason, but it was godawful. Granted the poor translation didn't help, but I doubt any amount of polish could have shined up this turd. Didn't bother reading the second arc, but I did see the very end where the two main characters meet cute.

Muddled the message when it tried to make you feel pity for bully getting bullied. Sure, they shouldn't get revenge raped by a kendo sword, but actions have consequences. She had previously made the male character do something similar to this by proxy. Also, there was a comically evil bad guy that felt more over the top then the Trump lookalike in Pumpkin Night for god sake.

Japan must have this weird masturbation hazing. This isn't the first manga to have it, so it must be frighteningly common.

Always curious how it ended, but it never evolves. People graduate but never change. I guess the comedies I like start out as comedies but become something more. I won't be able to stand this after Asobi Asobase, so I have to drop. Not bad, but not special.

This explains magic crystals and the like more fully. A very interesting take on a vampire.

Euphie stands out more in the book whereas Anis in the anime so far.

Tilty was my fave charter followed by vampire girl. This should have been better.

This is just random little stories about people in Japan and very Japanese things, so I don't understand it. Apparently, it is a collection of stories from over 10 years. Too free wheelin' for me. No score because I dropped after the bento story. There was also an old couple and an inside out t-shirt. Earth shattering stuff. At least La Quinta Camera had a concrete setting. Not even Junji Ito gets passing marks from me with story collections and he is probably the best at it.

I didn't like the fact that she was just sexually harassing the villainess the whole time. Sure she took to it eventually, but as a recipient of sexual harassment from the same sex...it doesn't make it okay. I'll give the anime a try perhaps. Maybe they tone it down or make it less awful in real time.

Read 4, 6, and 7. 6 was average. 4 and 7 seem to be fan favorites. I thought they sucked ass.

Weird power trip fantasy. To top it off, he's no Walter White when it comes to manipulation. Things just seem to happen in his favor. He's always just watching. Or he just buys the answer with points. Oh, and he's Jason Bourne apparently. Looks like he's got fetal alcohol syndrome.

Also, according to this story if you were ever bullied you are a broken person that deserves nothing in life. Ya blew it. Maybe you'll be lucky and have a serial killer pity you.

Really the worst 1st chapter I've ever read of a brand spanking new series. I don't know anymore. That Nue's Exorcist was pretty bad.
