Man....I just....fuck. It takes a lot for something to affect a person like myself, it takes even more when I've been jerking off for about 3/4 of the story. But then it just hits you, it hits you like a brick and no matter what sick shit you've masturbated to in the past, you won't make it passed this wall, not this time. You'll come to accept it, you'll think on it for probably the following hour or so, and you'll move on, you may never hit that wall again, but you'll always think back on it, maybe not on a regular basis, maybe once
a year if that. But you will think back on it, and you'll say to yourself "Man....".
So, I happen to stumble upon this manga from a stupid Facebook page, and thought why not give it a go.
I'm not a manga reader(but an avid anime watcher), so this is still on of my early manga experiences.
Before moving to the crux, I'll address the technical things first.
1. Art was quite good. Faces were very expressive. And it made the disgusting moments even more disgusting (in a good way, of course).
2. Writing was nothing special, but was bearable.
Now to the plot.
* Saki is a socially reclusive yet a very naiive girl, and when entering in high school, wants to become more social-able. So
she asks her mom to do some make-up and then she suddenly becomes the most attractive girl in the school.
* She then meets a guy in a shop, who invites for a drink, and her wanting to be an "adult", goes there. He forces here into sex, even gives LSD to her, and hence afterwards, declares her his girlfriend. She gives into his charms, and accepts her as his boyfriend.
* Then after hearing about ways to earn money by sex from her school friends, she gets into escorting, and that's when everything goes downhill.
1. So you now know it's "that" kind of story. The "decent-into-living-hell" kind of one. But the series of events and how they are unfolding and being presented, keeps the plot engaging. But since it's a hentai manga, it's interrupted by a lot of sex scenes.
2. OK, so something personal here. I glance a quite many hentai manga, because reasons.... but this is the first time I didn't get ... aroused... by the second chapter because of what was happening.
3. Awful things happen to Saki, very awful. Even though they may seem cliched, it is still very hard to sit through. And this continues on for 6 chapters, which is quite amazing to keep the reader engaging and disgusted at the same time.
4. But Chapter 7 is when it separates itself from other hentai manga. Without spoiling anything, all the horrible things that happened before all combine to make a big punch in the gut, and to the heart, that you won't forget soon.
5. It makes me scared that it happens to girls (and maybe even boys) in real life.
TL;DR :- One of the (surprisingly) saddest manga stories I've read as of writing this, and considering it is a hentai manga. I'm disgusted, emotionally drained, sad as well as a little scared after reading this. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.
EDIT : [SPOILERS] I've noticed something. Except for the obvious sexual pleasure, she doesn't show emotions or thoughts for her current situation, except for the abortion scene and at the end. You'd think one would break down and cry a little when one get's hurt, but even after all the bad things happening to her, she persists. She endures the pain for a good future with her boyfriend, until...
Beautiful. In many manga series, the character will experience the bad so that the good seems so much better when it comes. Realistically, some people just have completely terrible lives. The transition from seeking solace in life to seeking solace in death is beautiful and convincing.
Along the way, the reader is reminded that less fortunate people have unexplored characters and stories that are often overlooked. Many undeserving people are beaten down by life. Though the protagonist may have been naive, she tried to live with others and just couldn't stand up to the world by herself. She took a bad path in life, with no
one to help her at any turns she took, and she eventually found herself stuck. The world is as foul as people make it.
Though the story is experienced in third person, it really is as Saki experiences things. The lack of her thoughts make the story so much more tragically beautiful. We see Saki convincing herself that she is okay, we watch as she despairs when hope is taken from her, and at the end there is no after story, no epilogue. When life ends, it doesn't matter what happens afterwards because to experience something, you need to exist. Even if the people who made Saki's life miserable were meted out justice, she will never get to experience that happiness.
I really appreciate how this manga shows that life can be worse than death. The ending for this manga was a happy one. After toiling through life, she got the eternal reprieve she deserved. She may not have ever gotten to enjoy life, but she won't have to suffer through it ever again.
As one person online summed it up quite nicely, "The moral of the story is don't make friends, or you will be raped by your dad, do drugs and die." Henshin Emergence, otherwise known as Metamorphosis, is a manga that draws you in on shock value and keeps the sick side of you you try to ignore engaged. This, however, is not enough to write a rounded and meaningful story.
COMPLETE PLOT SUMMARY (2/10):
As forewarned, spoilers here. I feel the need to describe what I read to show the flaws I felt are easily overseen by those who don't want to see
Saki is a freshman high school girl (i.e. 15 or 16) who decides to shed off her old nerdy personality from middle school. It's a common thing in anime- coming of age. She asks her mom for fashion help, has her hair done and puts on a little makeup only to reveal that under those huge nerd glasses she was drop-dead gorgeous! Because she is now super gorgeous, she is the center of attention to her family, her class, and random strangers on the street. This becomes a very bad thing though as literally anyone Saki meets is a terrible person (not in the sense of a story like "Tomie" where Tomie makes people turn evil because of her, it's just everyone in this story happens to be an awful individual). Because Saki is socially awkward and probably never had the "don't talk to strangers" conversation, she doesn't know how to act when a shady individual flirts with her and asks her to a private karaoke room. She follows him, voluntarily takes drugs offered, and is raped by him. He leaves his number on her phone and leaves her high and assaulted. Despite this, Saki convinces herself she is in love with him and begins "dating" him throughout the story.
The next person to assault her (and mind you, this is how the story is split: who assaults her in what part) is an old man she tries to extort money out of for the purpose of being accepted by her classmates as not poor despite them already thinking she's not poor. Saki is quickly brought to a room and offered large sums of money for sexual favors (offered, not forced) to which Saki reasons "that sure is a lot of money" and does it. A few days later, her male classmates use a photo they conveniently took of her with the old man to force her into sex with them. Saki begins hanging out with the girls of the class less because she doesn't have time with all of the requests of the male classmates, so they write mean things on her desk later on.
After school, Saki finds out her dad lost his job and he leaves to get drunk. He comes home drunk, and surprise, forces himself into Saki's room and rapes her, to which Saki responds with, "we shouldn't, we're family" and "but mom is next door" (not screaming, pushing, etc). Her father continues to rape her for days afterward. One day after Saki comes home upset about the writing on her desk, her mother screams at her, blaming her for seducing her husband. Blaming her 16-year-old daughter for seducing her over 200-pound, adult, drunken husband. So we see that there are no positive support characters in this story.
Saki runs away from home to her "boyfriend" Hayato's home, where after a while, he reveals he owes a debt to a barman for drugs, and Saki offers to pay. Because she does not have enough money, Hayato gets her high on drugs and turns her into his prostitute on the spot. She works, earns money, gets pregnant once, gets an abortion, continues to have unprotected sex, and then is too tempted by drugs to pay her due to Hayato, getting kicked out of his house. She is forced to work and live on the streets. She is taken in by two homeless men (after they rape her, of course) and finds out she is pregnant again. Saki decides to change her life and keep the baby, but near the end weeks of her pregnancy she is still taking drugs and still prostitutes herself, so nothing has changed besides her saving up money.
In the end, Saki is putting away money in her locker when a group of her former students accuse her of theivery and decide to take action by beating her up, kicking her womb, and stealing her money. Saki has a retrospective moment on her previous life in the local bathroom, overdoses on drugs, hallucinates a happy life where her daughter grew up, and dies.
SAKI: Saki is a character who has very little internal dialogue, despite being the main character. When it comes to her making a decision, I can summarize her thoughts pretty simply:
- "I don't know why I'm doing this"
- "Hayato told me to"
- "Sex feels good"
- "I want drugs/money"
There are few moments when Saki makes a decision of her own (keeping her baby and saving money were probably the only ones she made). Almost all of her choices were made by Hayato, or other people in her life, and all the people in her life are awful people. Her family, school, random strangers...apparently anybody in Japan. This changes very little throughout the story. Saki does not gain any character development whatsoever. At the end, she learns "I wish I was ugly and nerdy again so people wouldn't treat me like this" as ultimatley all of her sorrows began with her being too pretty. Past her physical appearance, her internal personality didn't experience any changes. She does not learn how to stand up for herself, she does not learn how to say "no", and she does not create a better life for herself. Especially at the age of 16 when the brain is developing and the personality goes through big changes, this makes it feel as though the character's age does not match their emotions. Saki is a character I personally could not invest in, so I didn't care much about what happened to her.
HAYATO: Hayato is a character who is from the "adult world" of drugs and alchohol and prostitution and when he stumbles across an underage girl he thinks is attractive, his first plan of action is drugging and rape. It is never explained why he needs the money besides paying off owing someone who is a friend to him, which seems to be a fairly small amount. Past that, Saki messes up one time and he goes balistic, but it's unapparent why.
OLD GUY: The old guy Saki tried to extort is pretty much the only one that gives her a good comparison of "before" and "after". He thinks Saki lost self-respect (when she didn't seem to have any in the first place) based on her appearance. At first he seemed like a character who wanted to change a new leaf and help her, but this did not occur.
Everyone else matters very little as they are only sources of more misery.
ART (8/10): Nothing inheritely bad about it. ShindoL is a good hentai artist, sometimes has weird anatomy but generally a good style.
Saki is a poorly written character, and the things that happen to her are not believeable occurances in modern day Japan unless Japan was suddenly filled with absolutely atrocious people and a person this spineless existed. This manga relies on shock factor and does well in that aspect, it looks nice, but it just doesn't tell a strong story. The one positive moment in the story (note: a story that is completely negative is predictable) where she wants to keep her child and is optimistic about her future was not one that I felt was positive when I thought about it. Saki would be riddled with diseases, the drug damage would create immense issues for her child, and she would not be able to provide properly, and drug addiction is hard to kick. The only real ending I could imagine was her dying, as it did. ShindoL also does not depict drugs very well, assuming they are ecstacy, cocaine, and heroin, the symptoms were very strange and it took a while for addiction to even be relevant. Saki's sexual behavior was also unbelieveable as her brain seemed to turn off at any miniscule sexual stimulation and she seemed to constantly crave it.
The reception of me disliking this story seems to be met with replies of "wow you're a heartless person if you don't feel bad for Saki", when I feel worse for characters who prostitute for their families or social conditions such as Alex from "Gangsta" or Fantine in "Les Misérables", realistic prostitute characters. In comparison, Saki was a character who had bad things happen to her for very little reason, in turn giving the story little reason to exist.
Well, to be completely honest, I found a meme, got curious as to what it was and it lead me to reading this story. I've had a few hints and sort of guessed what it was going to be like before delving into this story. I was correct, but it exceeded my expectations and just kept doing down and down and down.
I must say this story had a very good impact on me and my thoughts of actual people around the world. Leads me to say that you got to be careful in your decisions as one thing can lead to another and you'll
never be able to go back on that.
Its a very hard manga to read and I wouldn't be surprised if you drop this manga very early. Its a good eye opener and you start to realise the bad in this world and that there always will be bad people.
You should definitely check this manga out, even though its a hentai, and hard to read through, it will certainly teach you a lot of things about how cruel life can be. It is probably the only hentai manga you should ever read.
So you are nerdy girl, then you change your appearance and few scenes later you are being drugged and forced, but this is H-read so you enjoy it instead of end the day with a trauma.
You fall in love with your raper, not ridicolous and dangerous idea its normal (sarcasm on)
Later you decide play the escort role but everything turns on fucki... with a fat ass you have just meet, not disgusting at all, he has a big D, its amazing ohhhh forgive me boyfriend kun, really?! Another Hentai common and dangerous plot.
The dad chapter it
is ridiculous (like everything in this Hentai). Your father rapes you, but again instead of a logical consequence, you enjoy the fuck and the abuse turns on your average day with a lot of pleasure of course.
Meanwhile you turn into the school whore, because you don't have any trauma (like every women/men in the world would have with a long past of abuses)
Next thing; your mother decides that you are a whore and kicks you out the house; Why? because you have seduced your own father (offff courseeee), so the deal is moving to your boyfriends house; start your career as a prostitute and enjoy your new happy life.
The rest of the manga it's basically, drugs, people abusing her, more drugs more abuse, 0 response to these things, more drugs more abuse, 0 response again and finally OH MY GOD WHAT I HAVE Turned ON?! And die because of an overdose
The thing is that is not only an awful manga, is bad H-manga too, 0 development of the protagonist. The idea is use a lot of hard and tragic scenes and a very tragic ending in order to impress and looks like you have a message, NOOOO you don't have any message you are a typical H-manga with a very dangerous concepts, nothing else.
"Emergence", as I've known it since I read a few pages months before it became so widespread, is easily one of the darkest and most depressing manga, let alone eromanga, that I've read. The outlook of it is very bleak and pessimistic, possibly to a fetishistic degree. It's not terrible, but I'm not saying it's good, either.
Beginning with the most attractive feature, the art is fairly good, with a distinctive style. It's very expressive, perhaps a bit too expressive, as I generally found it to bear a bit more resemblance to art that would better fit a more light-hearted and
"mainstream" (i.e. not hentai) manga; however, this expressiveness did help some of the darker scenes to feel more "grotesque", making them less bearable than a more "standard", for lack of a better term, art style. As for the more anatomical aspects of it, while the proportions are fairly mild, the art is a bit more exaggerated than the average eromanga, Saki's body or poses sometimes looking downright silly in my opinion.
Moving onto the story, as you may glean from the synopsis, it's essentially the downward spiral of Saki's life after her high school debut that she changed her image for. A more accurate way to describe it may even be that it's a story that repeatedly beats Saki, and likely the reader too, down. The story is told in what could be called a chain of struggles and tragedies, each one involving sex in one way or another, understandable as it's an eromanga, and the degradation of Saki's mind (and eventually body). It's rather predictable in that things go terribly for Saki, though, of the manga I've read so far, it's unique in that the story is told from start to finish, going beyond where other hentai mangaka would leave off.
The writing is highly pessimistic in nature, and not above toying with the readers' emotions, for better or worse; personally, while I cried reading this, I admit that I'm susceptible to such writing methods, and will not guarantee anything. I found the ending more or less fitting of the manga, but I enjoyed a particular small moment of dialogue within the last few pages. Overall, though, I found the writing to be weak, and too reliant on easy gimmicks. While it was certainly tragic, since I've started thinking about the manga while writing this review, I've considered the possibility that an eromanga this sad is specifically so for fetish purposes, as simple shock value seems too simple.
As for characters, I feel as though there are no truly likeable characters in this manga. For a series that has the official English title of "Metamorphosis", the main character, Saki, seems to change the least in terms of characterization, remaining hopelessly naive even through the chain of tragedy involving her; many of the characters that you see less of in the manga show more change, in a few cases, very drastically. Even giving this manga the benefit of the doubt for being a hentai, no characters show anything beyond the role they were meant to fulfill, not even fleshing out that role beyond the bare minimum.
Personally, I did not enjoy this manga, and I primarily read it all the way through so I could understand what a few people I knew were talking about. Unfortunately, this manga was rather memorable, and further eromanga I've read have reminded me of this series, though I don't have any particular feelings about this other than regret.
I would recommend this manga for emotional masochists and those who like to cry, or, in the other hand, those who like to see fictional characters suffer beyond what is believable.
Overall, my experience with this manga was poor, and I feel as though it was trying way too hard to get a reaction from the reader, or that its tragic story was more meant as fetish bait than reaction bait.
To lighten this up a bit, in terms of hentai manga protagonist's suffering, Saki has nothing on Mai-chan.
I see in a lot of comments in many websites of hatred againts Saki-chan, saying that she is silly, dumbass and she deserves all that things for her bad decisions.
I am going to defend Saki-chan from all that things. What happens is that Saki-chan is a TEENAGER, an insecure teenager that only wants to have a friend, to be accepted, like everyone wants to, how many of you did things in those years for liking others?
Everyone is making proffit of her kindness and innocence that, step by step, made that awful ending when she realizes that wasn't the way... A sad story
The story is far from good, it's dark without faint light and yet we still find this series engaging all of our emotion and feelings, completely devouring us. With utmost respect, it's truly a magnificent experience that simply touch almost every dark aspect in one life.
The story itself is about how one pure life can be tainted, so bad that little by little you can't see the way out anymore. Barely hold on to string that accepting the ugly choices, it just getting miserable in the end. Hopeless, alone, lonely without any help that strive
you to think, death is by no means is a salvation itself.
However while the drama truly noteworthy for the amazing play, it's still an insult how kindness is almost nowhere to be found in the series. No matter how cruel world can be, kindness is always there, beside us. This is a cycle of life balance. Kind and gentle people exist, just because we don't find them doesn't mean they don't exist. The fact that this story completely toss out kindness as a whole is simply horrible excuse.
The characters play the role perfectly, yet every one of em beside the main girl is just plain terrible, showing such an nasty heart at it. While they are in fact unlovely at all, the building development is quite good. But in the end, I just felt that this whole drama rather forced. Dark story is quite interesting plot, but the story itself is just a cycle of 'bad' things that keep happening which just seem unreal if you ask me.
Art is quite good, the art of body also fantastic and the shading is there too. I'm simply can't complain at all if its about art.
In the end, I think the series is kind of overrated given out the whole chapters. It's bad that it is good, but that's it. Sometimes along the way, I found myself keep asking 'oh is that it?' because the same cycle of 'bad luck'. It's far from enjoyable either, but in all honesty, the story itself is a decent one and fair. Given out the fact that i've always reading gore & snuff h-manga which is far worse.
Ok, I live for edgy/dark manga (and anything else really), so when I heard everyone making a big deal about this title, I had to read it.
My expectations were set pretty high because of all the hype surrounding the series, which probably impacted my judgement in a negative way, as it did not completely live up to that hype.
I love the premise of the story. It's definitely original and I haven't seen many other hentai that have tried to be anything other than mindless smut. Which I don't mind, but it can get boring.
However, this attempt at realism is also the series' downfall for me.
main character's mindset towards life and other people doesn't make sense to me. How willingly she trusts complete strangers. How attached she becomes to these men who abuse her. How much she loves sex right from the beginning. None of this makes sense in a character coming from her background and especially for her age.
I guess we don't get to see much of her life before her descent into substance abuse begins. From what is provided, she seems to have a pretty normal home life. Her dad gets creepy when she gets a makeover, true. But, before then it doesn't seem like she's been through anything particularly traumatic or unusual.
Someone coming from an average background like that doesn't seem like the type to suddenly go all the way with an older stranger and take E.
And even if you are high, I really don't think losing your virginity like that would be pleasurable at all.
The reactions she gets from the drugs she takes don't really make sense. It seems to be written by someone who didn't do much research on any of the drugs used throughout the series. They just seem to be working with cliches surrounding the drugs in question.
Also, you don't really get to see the lowest parts that come with substance abuse. True, you get to see what she's willing to put her body through overtime & how other people ramp up their abuse towards her. But, you don't get to see her own personal mental breakdowns. There's not any exploration of the relationship she has with herself. If you're someone who is living that kind of lifestyle, those moments are a HUGE part of the cycle of addiction. The only thing close to that is what happens at the very end of the series.
I guess, as far as hentai goes, yes this one of the more realistic and darker ones out there that I know of. It's unique and refreshing. However, it could have gone further with it and made it even more messed up.
You could argue that 'hey this is hentai, what do you expect?' Maybe there needed to be the right balance of realism and fantasy. Idk, I'm not a writer lol. For me, it would have enhanced my experience with it. I'm not sure how other people may feel about that. It's clear this work has managed to leave a mark on people just the way it is, and that's the important thing.
Overall, I would recommend other people to read it. Not to get some insight on how drug addiction works in real life. Not to get off to either, unless you're full on sadist. Read it because you probably haven't read anything like it before & you're tired of reading the same old boring cliches in every other hentai/manga.
I don't know why i'm making this review tbh and i'm going to make it really short... i never watch/read Hentai, but i definitely had to give Emergence a shot and let me tell you, it left me with a really sad feeling. I found out about this manga from a shitty anime facebook page. Everyone was talking about how sad it was and i was like "c'mon it's a fucking hentai manga, how is it going to be sad?".. I WAS WRONG.
You know what was the worst thing about this manga? everything is way too real, it talks about really fucked up topics, like
drugs, prostitution and sexual abuse and it makes me very sad because a lot of kids go trough shit like that and just thinking about how much they suffer, man, it really hurts me. But well back to the manga, the art was amazing, it was very detailed and well drawn, one of the best i've ever seen imo, too bad it's from a Hentai.
The only important character here it's Saki and i think it doesn't really matter the way characters are since it's a hentai but poor Saki, i felt so bad for her all the time, it just kept getting worse and worse for her. I didn't enjoyed this manga it MADE ME SUFFER, so if you are a masochist the read it.
Let's be honest : Henshin (usually called Emergence / Metamorphosis or even 177013) isn't a bad Hentai but it remains extremely scary, disgusting, nasty or makes you hatin' human nature on some points. My following review will contain major spoilers so for those who don't want to know the plot, here is a non-spoiled paragraph.
This manga is all about a regular highschool girl who could be your daughter, sister, niece, friend or just someone you meet in the street. A bit friendless, young enough to be naive and old enough to desire a change in her life. Indeed, her life will drastically change and not
for the best, clearly. I would lie saying Henshin wasn't exciting, arousing or sexually attractive... but it is clearly disgusting if you think properly. As always I like claiming than a fiction is a fiction, even if it tells real events that might/have occur(ed). But this time it is just impossible to get far away from the story to be unaffected. If you are easily influenced or affected by reading or watching fiction, please make sure your mind is strong to hold such an horrible story : horrible because the fate is terrible but also because you simply can't deny the fact it is very good & exciting to read.
Ok, let's enter the part with spoilers.
Our main character being looking for friends or actually, a change in her life, she will take the wrongest/worst possible choices. Starting from dating a guy she just met (oviously a good-looking one with such a friendly behaviour). It happens in real life so nothing extremely scary... until you realize he intentionaly drugs her so that she becomes a submissive sex slave. However things will quickly turn worse, when she starts giving her body to men (basically she becomes a prostitute) for money, to help her pretendedly boyfriend - who considers her as a vulgar tool -.
You understood : she was naive to be manipulated. But the worst part didn't show up yet. Yes indeed, she thinks that doing such dirty job helps both her boyfriend and her, considering one of her reward remains drug. Quickly & scarily she becomes a drug addict, starting to have sex with a young man, then having it with older men including a father... Being repelled by her own mother she ends up moneyless, living in her boyfriend (he is nothing than her mac in fact), selling her body to please him & stopping her drug thirst. On the other side, her secret life gets discovered by her classmates, who manage to blackmail her : having sex to pay their silence, a thing she has no choice but to do.
As usual this kind of stories have a bad ending, with women being employed more & more to get money, until they become useless and get literaly thrown with the trashes. Sinking deeper and deeper in drug addiction and sex, our "heroine" loses her humanity progressively until she becomes pregnant after (it is hard to think about it) being raped by bums/homeless men. She starts regaining a bit of humany when she desires to give birth... but without money, family or even a support, what could she do ?
Well you guessed already : she kept prostituting herself for money, being f*cked by nastier & dirtier men, even with her hyge belly bearing her child. The end is actually the worst : after saving money, she gets caught by a group of youngs (let's say 20-25 years old, including men & women) who will humilate her and beat her up for fun. Naturally, she gets badly hurt and to support the pain in order to let her child leave (she honestly cares about him/her, that is the heartbreaking point), she eventually takes her last bag of drug, leading her to an overdose.
It was really painful to read to the end, because Henshin represents a real story that already happened to many teenagers/adults. It brings the worst thematics such as drug addiction, rejection from the society (she stops going to highschool, her family expels her,...), prostitution ect. As a regular man, I kept reading it but couldn't stop thinking about the fact this kind of story happens currently. I greatly pity those who meet such a terrible fate... being rejected by wrong choices, forced to "live", no, forced to survive in horrible conditions, to finally being killed. Mankind can be terribly scary & violent if you don't answer a minimum of its codes. The saddest part being her having a vision where her daughter wakes her up to ask if anything happenned. Smiling, she simply replied she thought about past and then... you see her glasses on the ground with some blood. Yeah, you got it, this scene was nothing but an ideal dream she will never ever get. Actually, an alternative ending made by someone featured Jojo's characters (sorry I don't remember their names) coming to rescue her & make sure she survives.
Read this hentai very carefully, otherwise it might shock you & make you disgust human nature.
this is the first time that i read a hentai and wow
it's just so many emotions in a couple of chapters i can't even explain it
at first it was a tipical story of a no one who becomes a popular girl but then BAM she dicovers sex and drugs and omg....
i'm gonna be serious, i was so desconfortable reading it and seeing all of that stuff that for a moment i thought that maybe i shouldn't been reading it because it was too much for me and 'i dont like that kinda of stuff' and 'im not really in hentai so why go on?'
i couldn't stop
it's true that i passed many parts because .. (read it yourself)
but damn it
i finished my first hentai manga crying
i know that i didnt enjoy that much because talks of some stuff that make me disgusted but i can tell when i read a good story and oh yeah boy i've read damn really good story
the only thing that i really hated:
WHY WHY TSSSSSKKKKKKK
Emergence, or Henshin, or even Metamorphosis. Is a manga written by ShindoL. And it seems that my man ShindoL here is notorious for making tragedy mangas and this one is not an exception. I'd have to say that this is one of the best hentai I have ever read, in fact I would consider it a masterpiece.
The story is just fucking amazing, bravo, magnifico, impeccable, sugoi, incroyable and put more praise words from all languages here. This shit is like The Godfather of Hentai. It just shows how a tragedy hentai is supposed to be done perfectly. The character development of Saki, how she
transformed from an innocent girl to a corrupted thot (excuse my ghetto language there) is perfect, I have nothing to say that could probably improve the story. The sex scenes are just umm... meh, I think. It serves only as a filler, at least for me anyway. This is one of those hentai that the story outshines the sex and not many hentai do that. The story crushes your emotions and it already does that since the beginning, and when you think the story couldn't get any more worse, my nigga ShindoL here quickly proves just how fucking wrong you are. The story also gave me a new perspective in life, there are a actual women out there who have been in Saki's position, and the thought of something Saki experienced in the story has also probably happened in real life, hmm... it fucks me up man.
This hentai has a lot to offer when it comes to the sex, here are the fetishes that are in it:
-Dirty old man
-Ahegao (This hentai is ahegao heaven)
I probably missed a few but I think it's enough to tell you what you are up for. The sex scenes doesn't really arouse me, probably because I'm already busy crying from my eyes rather than from my genitals.
The art is great, props to the artist for his job in drawing Saki because she's one of the hottest characters I seen in a while. She stays hot even in her miserable states later in the story. The artist also did a great job in drawing the background. While for the men, I don't really have much to say.
The personalities of each character is depicted nicely, it's not your typical "make all men horny and rapey" type of shit. Also, how Saki's personality and moral gets more and more degenerated throughout the story and how well done it is depicted is a big plus from me.
I didn't start to enjoy the story until chapter 3 where everything started going tits up and Saki's life started going downhill from there. The more I read, the more I get immersed in the story and how I get more and more emotionally attached to Saki. The ending is where it fucks me up, although I was kind of expecting that kind of ending, how it was brought up was really soul crushing and very depressing. Poor Saki-chan.
Overall, I give this a strong ten. This is an example of how a tragedy hentai should be done. This is like (more analogies coming) the Illmatic of tragedy hentai, the Shawshank Redemption of tragedy hentai, the Sgt. Peppers of tr- Uhh.. A-Alright, alright, I'll stop with the analogies there.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the feeling of being very attached to the protagonist or If you just like the idea of an innocent girl becoming corrupted.
Who said H doujins are only good for jerking off? This series right here proved that not all H doujins display sex as a pleasurable thing. It shows us how it can corrupt a person, it shows us how we can change. It presents a character who's so fragile that she gave into pressure just to fit in. I'm sure some of us feel that way, not feeling part of something and trying as hard as we can to fit in. But there are drawbacks to it: for one, we forget who we are and what we really want in life. Because of the pressure that
society delivers to us, we can no longer function as our own person. The female lead represents all those strangled by the status quo, those being used for someone else's gain. This series showed us how real an H doujin can get. Sometimes, you don't need to follow the norm to emerge. True emergence reveals itself when we choose the right choice.
Take note: despite being an H manga, it's not for the faint of heart. Also, bring tissues, because you'll cry more than you'll jerk off. But I assure you, this series will change your life.
PSA: If you've been raped or have severe depression do not read this. This is extremely realistic.
I am, man I usually have a pretty thick stomach. I read a hentai and I wasn't even turned on. This manga hit home, not for me thank god. This manga is what I've seen a lot of women go through. They leave it all with some guy, its rare, but I've seen it on both sides. Especially women.
Without having any idea what the general synopsis is, the story has great pacing. It's very simple and realistic. I often found myself thinking "man this is so real." I know
so many girls got into that hardcore stuff because some cute guy who seemed nice introduced them. It's not about dating or romance. It's about influence. It is easy for a women to make money selling her body and no one wants to say it but it does decrease your value. ZFor money, drugs, attention, opportunities.
I'm not here to judge, heck, I'd probably do the same. How real is this manga? Scary real. In fact, I want to know how someone could've possibly known all of this. Girls do having dating apps where they pretend to be under 18 and get 10,000 USD for blowjobs etc. I have experienced this.
Story: Great. Extremely realistic. Scary realistic
Art: You'd be turned on if you couldnt read
Character: Realistic. Extremely fucking realistic
Enjoyment: Idk. Ignore my overall grade because I do not have one. However, this manga should be in every school. It isn't a lifestyle that should be shamed. But it is one that should come with a warning label. I can only imagine the things she had to do, to climb to the last panel.
Well i never liked this genere of anime of manga
I read this beacuse i watched a vídeo con Youtube
Art was very good for me so 8\10
At the begininig it seems like a typical hentai story,,but as you progress you realize that it is different, the story is tragic but not something different from what has been seen, even though it is sad because it is something that really happens in everyday life. 6\10
well the only characters that had good development were saki and Ayato saki is the only character that I could really care about, the transformation that
really suffers is impressive and ayato is that character that changes it completely (partly also his father) 7\10
So i can't day i Enjoy the manga because first i don't like this kind of manga, and the story whas toó cruel i felt realy bad for saki
This was very hard to read and it has a very powerful story/message. Some people can relate to this and it's very realistic which makes it hard for people that are trying to jerk off to this. One bad decision can really make a difference in your life. Everything happens for a reason. The art style i really like. The character's I liked and how they came to change through out the manga. There were some stale character but they were ok. In the beginning it was enjoyable but as soon as the story became deep it was hard to enjoy this type of
stuff since in this type of situation, it can be real to anyone, but wanting to know what's going to happen is what kept my momentum.
Man...This manga is something. It's definitely not for the faint of heart and definitely not something you want to fap at (especially towards the end).
I read through this manga in less than 2 hours. During those two hours I was extremely interested in how it will turn out...but towards the end, I kept asking myself "when will it end" over and over again.
This manga is really tragic and interesting. But morally I can't give it more than an 8. Only because I don't like these type of train wreck stories.
If you like that sort of thing, by all means go ahead and read this.
You'll love it.
If you're more into happy endings avoid this manga at all costs. Otherwise a great read. Will be reading more of ShindoL in the future.
