Vigilante getting rid of the evil on this earth by taking the law in their own hands, awesome action and badass MCs
reportRecommended by Sturmwalzer
The main characters are very much alike implementing their own brand of vigilante justice while also working for the very same police force chasing them. It also has the good version and dark version type of MC. It is very good so far and a definite read if you loved Death Note.

The badass with a heart of gold protects/avenges the innocent against criminal scum

-Antihero protagonist -Protagonist who working as police officer -Protagonist who looks weak but strong behind the scenes -Dark plot themed -In Dendrobates, Sengawa's working alone while in Ouroboros, had two people that helping each other, Ryuzaki as a police detective and Tatsuya as a leader of Yakuza.

Animal/insect like powers with a touch of awesomeness! Main characters are super strong since the beginning but not overpowered, may seem weak at first (super cool later :P)

Both of these manga focus on a hitman who has an unlikely double life
reportRecommended by TheLewdOtakuRe
These two manga are about criminal acts against the weak, and the culprits try to get away with their crimes. These crimes are violent to say the least. The main characters (anonymously) perform vengeance against those implicit criminals and murderers, and not by softly taking them into custody. *Both MCs have a secret double life. *Both are very bloody.

Both of these series are about an assassin with absurdly high skill levels

I started reading it and I never stopped until I finished the story. They are great stories with many challenges, mysteries and passions. The details keeps you intrigued. They can be essentially divided into three parts that are all developed as the story progresses.

- Both have killing "jobs" - They both hiding their true nature to others (Dendrobates, he looks like nerd. In DTB he wears a mask) When I readed Dendrobates, first things that comes to my mind was like TV show Dexter :d, Darker than Black and Akumetsu!

The mc's have a double life, in Jesus as a teacher and in Dendrobates as a office worker but they are assassins who primarily use guns.

Both feature assassins who kill the corrupt at night while trying to live other lives. Both feature law enforcement agents who chase after them, and both have heavy church overtones. But more than that, both of these mangas have a tragic but engaging tone, Tista more than Dendrobates perhaps because there aren't as many unrelated one-shot cases. They both have that murky question of should vigilante justice be allowed and how the past continues to haunt us.
reportRecommended by Selinea
Both are stories about anti-heroes fighting criminals in the underworld of society while using less than conventional methods.

Both are living a double life. In Dendrobates, Sengawa is working in the police as an accountant during the day and into a ruthless assassin during the night named "The man of a thousand guns". In Kyou kara Hitman, Tokichi is a salaryman that has been force to work as a hitman under the name of "Dual Pistols".

- Both incorporate revenge - Both have dark themes - Both are seinen - Both have episodic layouts
reportRecommended by henyome
Both are similar in the way that the main characters are hired guns that only those who hire them know what they are. Green Blood is set is the wild west of America whereas Dendrobates is modern day Japan

episodic with main character in police. same mature conent although jiraishin has a lot more sex and blood.
reportRecommended by Hendri
Seinens with professional assassins, crime drama plots and lots of detailed weaponry with guns and the mc in both series also live double lives. However Dendrobates, the man of a thousand guns works alone while in Young Gun the assassin is part of a team.

A criminal leads an undercover life as a normal person. Episodic. Similar relationship between male and female main lead.
