Story: 7/10
100% Perfect Girl has a very dramatic plot line. One that may seem too cheesy or unbelievable at times. The protagonist, Jay, comes into contact with so many misfortunes that it makes this manhwa unbelievable. Still, it provides a great shoujo fantasy and is easy is to read and understand.

Art: 9/10
Many manhwas have poor drawing, but I found the characters in this manhwa quite attractive. The backgrounds are beautifully drawn and you can see immense detail of the cities that they visit in this manhwa. Many mangakas get lazy with their backgrounds, but Wann does not. Her characters and backgrounds are incredibly well drawn.

Character: ... 7/10
The characters are believable at first, but combined with the unbelievable plot, they start to waver. Wann makes EVERYONE the BAD GUY. I guess you get the feeling that "we are all evil" or "we all have bad points." Everyone's bad sides are shown out-which is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, I quite like how the manhwa focuses on bad instead of the good. The classic shoujo manga does not bring out the bad, but this is a manhwa. Manhwas, in my opinion, have better realism because of that. We, the reader, need to have a taste of good and bad although in 100% Perfect Girl, it maybe have been overdone.

Enjoyment: 10/10
I have cried countless times for Jay, the protagonist. Her troubles are agonizing and the mangaka has drawn it well. The dialogue is quite emotional and doesn't leave you bored. I have enjoyed this manhwa so far.

I give it a 10, simply because I enjoyed it.

The story opens up with the main romantic interest reading a short story written by Haruki Murakami called “On Seeing the 100% Perfect Girl One Beautiful April Morning”. The short story is about a young man who walks past a girl who attracts his attention despite being plain, but he ends up not having the courage to speak with her. This reference to the short story is honestly marks the beginning of a long line of willing suspense of disbelief as the writer of the manhwa wants the reader to believe that Jay is a plain girl who does not stand out at all, and ... the male characters whine about it constantly to the point it becomes annoying. Sound familiar?

Think Twilight... minus the fantasy and supernatural elements of course.

Jay is a plain looking girl... that is, compared to his highness’s little sister. Compared to every other female in the series she is actually gorgeous and breath taking. She is far from what I would describe as being a plain girl, particularly when she ends up having two other guys falling for her. A good portion of the plot involves conflict between the three men in her life. I might as well add that the conflict... or fighting really pushes and the suspense of disbelief, but there are other things. The conflict just doesn't seem real at all.

Where the plot doesn't involve conflict the plot ends up being about how the men in her life take advantage of her, but also do things like keep her safe from the other guys. Yup... there is another comparison to Twilight there... the fact we have love triangles... in this case a love quadruple... and we also have males who are over protective to the point of being abusive... and this time it is three guys instead of the two. We also have a female who can't take care of herself and constantly is whining about how she can't take care of herself.

To be honest though the problems don't end there.

At the beginning of the story we have the main character all weepy because her parents don't want her to pursue art school. That I can understand despite the over dramatization. What I can't understand though is how her school takes away her chance to participate in a big art competition because the other student was rich and going to an actual art school. This is despite the fact the Jay is their top student when it comes to art and she would better represent the school.

Another time the belief is pushed by a system that is able to identify people by their earlobes at one-hundred percent accuracy. For most people the one-hundred percent accuracy would cause some speculation because no system is completely accurate, but instead it doesn't raise any speculation. One of the downsides to identifying people by earlobes rather then fingertips comes from the fact you can reshape the ear and there is also the fact that while we now know that the accuracy rates for ear identification are high, this particular story was written before we really knew how accurate it was.

There is also the fact there comes a point in time when Jay has to give up her painting because of post traumatic syndrome, which causes her hand to shake to much and makes it so that she can no longer do the fine detail she became known for. Can I add here that she is a genius at art too? But back onto the PTSD. PTSD does not cause the loss of fine motor skills. While it is true that she may not have had interest in making art anymore, the fact remains she wanted to continue making art work AND it would have been a great way for dealing with the actual PTSD.

In the long run 100% Perfect Girl is blatant wish fulfillment, and likely not one of the healthy kinds. Despite the beautiful art work the actual story telling is poor due to exaggeration that were not needed as well as inaccurate details. The thing that honestly bothered me the most though was the fact the creator of this particular manhwa tried to piggy back their work on another writers work, a piece that despite it's short length is a far better read then this particular piece.

100% Perfect Girl is like watching an elaborate over-the-top soap drama- but regardless of how cheesy and clichéd things might be, one can’t help but carry on wanting to know what happens next regardless of how unrealistic the situations they’re in actually are.

The story in the first few volumes starts of as a Cinderella story; where Jarte a European prince falls in love-at-first-sight with the ordinary Korean girl Jay. As the volumes progress and things develop though, one should expect an “anything could happen” approach to this fast-paced manhwa as literally many odd things happen adding to the enjoyment and also taking you through ... a tornado of emotions all with “love” as justification of means of course!

The characters are based around a reverse harem story- so one should expect the usual suspects and a range of personas.

Overall a very enjoyable manhwa indeed :)

Well, I've never written a review here so there I don't expect it to be quite helpful. But this manhwa had me aggravated. That's the closest I can describe this feeling. I considered dropping it twice within the less than 24 hours it took me to read. The only reason I stayed was for the art which was magnificent. Then there was also the need for closure. To see how this author would try to chummy everything up after so many horrifying events taking place.

"I don't want love anymore."

100% Perfect Girl started like a fairy tale but along the way it shifted. Left me wondering how could love sometimes mess us up so to the point where we don't even recognize ourselves…

You have your average fairy tale story of a regular girl, Jay, who is living her normal life. While running an errand one day she meets Jarten. He is captivated by her. He had never seen anyone so beautiful and he has to know her, to have her. Jarten looks like royalty and it’s later revealed to her that he indeed is a Prince. After spending time ... with him and getting to know him he has to fly back to his country. Not before he proposes to her and asks her to go with him. Love knows no boundaries they say, Jarten and Jay will put that theory to a test.

Was it perfect? No. Like a lot of manga, the heroine was coveted by most of the guys, almost all. She was nice to boot and changed people’s lives, sometimes for the better and sometimes she was a calamity that befell on them. To say it with the words of someone in the manga, “She was like a cancer..” There was so much drama that it makes the story far-fetched but still leaves you wondering, what next?
You have your assassination attempts, bodyguards, weapons dealers, pro shooters/snipes, mafia, and the high class parties. Need I go on?
The plot sometimes got repetitive in a way but it's a common thing I have seen with long manhwa.

It started like a regular fairy tale of Prince falls in love with a regular girl who feels trapped in her life. He loves her, needs her? She saves him with a promise to be by his side. Unfortunately, the other side is not greener in this case it’s just bigger and with it brings seclusion.
Havoc was at every corner for them, one after the other, you witness the relationship change. All that mattered is that she was by his side. At first it surprised me the gloomy turn the manga went. But it made me like it even more. Because not all love is great and it does have it’s darkness.

I want to say that this is a romance but that’s not exactly true. Love meets that thin line that borders on obsession and restraining order.
Was there love? Yes, but it sometimes it was masked to look like obsession. The love became selfish, started changing them all while it makes the one you love self destruct by your mere presence in their life. that’s how you know. That’s what happened to them.

It showed love at its worst, destructive.

You’ll meet characters you’ll like and one’s you’ll hate to your core. Others you’ll love to hate or hate to love.
There’s villains up the wazoo, but then again it is to be expected when the hero of the story is a rich Prince who seems to have it all.

Jay is kind and doesn’t know the meaning of evil. At least not at the beginning. The characters whose change takes the longest is hers, in way. Because as a person you tend to have to hit rock bottom before you can really start to pick yourself back up and that’s what happened to her. I find that I really did like her character and you start to see her become who she wanted and not who everyone thought she should be.

Jarten was the hero but his character made me feel like I was in a malfunctioning elevator. Sometimes I liked him and sometimes I wanted to throw crap at him. He was actually pretty flawed, borderline psychotic at times. He’s the type that loves someone so much that would rather see them dead than with someone else.

You have your best friends whose role you sometimes enjoy more than the actual protagonist. The devoted bodyguard who’s story helps in creating and developing a great love for a character, Making him one of your favorites. You have villains that are so ruthless but yet so wounded you can’t help but feel for them in a dark and twisted way.

The art was nice. I had to get used to the way some features were drawn but after it will become the manhwa’s style and you start to enjoy it. There’s a beauty to the characters that give them a surreal look. Also, got to give Wann props for making the guy characters look great without their shirt on. They all look the same a little bit but still, a girl can appreciate.

The writing is amazing and the use of imageries and metaphors was great.
The ending, be a judge for yourself, it wasn’t my favorite the first time around. The second time I gotta say I kindda digged it. I still think it should have ended differently but hey to each their own.
Life, death, lies, obsession, coveting, selfishness, betrayal. This one has it all and it shows you, even being a princess is nor all it’s cracked up to be.

I don't give 10 outta 10s very easily to just any manga.. this is definitely recommended! 100% perfect girl is one of the few mangas that will take you on a roller coaster of feelings ( i cried a lot ), and it's especially liked by shoujo readers because it's about a bunch of guys falling in love with 1 girl :)

Amazing! The beginning isn't exactly eye candy but when jarte meets jay .. it gets interesting. i won't spoil the manga by summarizing it .. the story keeps you on the egde of your seat.. especially the latest chapters ( series not yet complete ... )

Alright, where do I start? Seeing as this is my first review, I'll do the best I can.

STORY -- 8
It starts off as one of those cute little cheesy stories where the rich and handsome prince falls head-over-heels for the poor, average female lead. You know, those stories that give you a warm fuzzy feeling where you feel like "Oh, why can't my life be like that?" Ohohoho, now after that is where things get a little crazy. One heart-breaking event after another, leaving you partially depressed, but somehow, it mends your heart in just a few chapters at the end. Wann also makes ... it so that everything falls into place, and everything makes sense. Especially misunderstandings. But Wann makes it so EVERYTHING makes sense, pulling you deeper into the story.

ART -- 9
The art was amazing in my opinion. I personally think manhwa art is really nice, but this one is just the cream of the crop. Wann laces the whole story with intricate details, and the characters look flawless.

CHARACTER -- 10
Okay, I personally think this is one of the strongest parts of this story. You get the see how the two main leads of the manhwa gradually develop into what they are at the end. As not to give out any spoilers, it's magnificent to see how the two leads can start off as a innocent first love and develop into a relationship full of heartbreak, loss of trust, and shattered pieces of love that are pieced back together piece by piece.

ENJOYMENT -- 10
This manhwa made me so psychologically unstable throughout the whole thing. I found myself feeling happy, sad, angry, and dumb-founded all at the same time for multiple times throughout the story. It just has so many highs and lows, it's like an emotionally roller-coaster. Nonetheless, at the end, it gives you a feeling you can't forget.

OVERALL -- 10
This is definitely on my list of favorites, for many reasons obviously. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a story worth your while.

100% Perfect Girl is something I sort of just stumbled upon. I didn't read about it beforehand, or know anyone else who'd read it. I barely even read the synopsis... I simply plunged myself into it, because I like to be surprised. Well, I was definitely surprised. The first chapter or two into this manga, I figured it was a sweet little love story. As it turns out, "sweet" and "little" have nearly no relevance here. It is much more BIG AND MESSY. Halfway into the story, I found myself thinking... "How are they EVER going to repair this horrendously dysfunctional, broken relationship?"

While the story ... itself has a lot of overly dramatic and downright unrealistic occurrences, I have to give credit to the writers in that the actual emotional responses of the characters seemed very realistic and plausible to me. This means that their reactions are not always pleasant ones, and very much contributes to the overall story. Never did I find myself asking, "Why are these people so stupid?", because their poor decisions always seemed real in some way... except for maybe the fact that all these handsome men were inexplicably drawn to the same somewhat average woman. But hey, this is a manga, what can you expect, right?

Maybe it's because I'm an adult with a family of my own, but I really appreciated the emphasis put on how easy it is to hurt the ones you love, and things don't always go the way you think they will. I would not suggest this manga for a younger audience, because it does discuss darker psychological themes, such as rape and murder. It is not overly graphic in this regard, but they are not a part of the story you can easily overlook, either.

With all that said... I have to be honest and say that, even though I have a lot of respect for character portrayal and deeply appreciated the "real reactions" factor, I didn't 100% (pun intended) enjoy this manga. Why? Simply put, it is not terribly fun. Honest? Maybe more so than most. I would definitely recommend it to a more mature audience if you want to read a good, messy drama. However, while it has a lot of romance in it, it is NOT a sweet little love story.

What caught my attention about this manhwa was the beautiful art. It's not often that you come across a beautifully done manhwa (from my experience anyway). The storyline is very dramatic, overdone, a bit predictable, and unrealistic, but it's the kind of story that makes you root for the main couple and a happy ending.

I found myself feeling a flurry of emotions and in a way I could relate to the main character. Even though her story is pretty unrealistic, that's what makes it enjoyable for us to read, there are some parts of her character that you can't help but admire. I'm glad ... that the main girl is not one of those typical shoujo girls that makes you want to pull out your hair because she's so stupid and helpless.

The main character, Jay, is more capable than she seems to be. At times, the story is unbelievably psychotic and is the epitome of what happens when two people are extremely in love and can't live without the other. It's really crazy when you actually read it. It's actually quite infectious because you get sucked into the story so bad, you can't help but keep reading till the end.

You won't be let down by picking this manhwa up, it's by far my favorite manhwa and I'm just wondering what kind of manhwa I've been reading before finding this one. Get ready for raw emotions, outstanding dialogue presentation, and a bunch of beautifully drawn guys and art in general!

Okay, i dont write many reviews but i just really can't help but write a review for this manga. I'm not going to talk about it piece by piece cause that would take too long, but here i go.

I really enjoyed this manga. Its very original and it got me hooked from the moment i started reading it to the very end. My favorite part was that during all the serious parts, they made it funny by adding those pictures. I'm not sure exactly how to say it but they made the character faces all bubbly and so on (you'll see what I'm taking ... about if you read it.) I love that because it allowed me to easily relate to life like for example in chapter 80, page 4. Its filled with serious drama and romance with action and a little comedy. I think that it would be great for everyone.

I pretty much loved everything except that the male lead was a jerk here and there and that he didn't understand her very well. He even doubted her and didn't believe that she actually loved him until the last few chapters which made him look like a total dumb-ass. Other than that, i thought that it was amazing and that it's not a waste of time reading.

I enjoyed this manga so much that i almost finished it in one whole day and practically stayed up the whole night until i collapsed and fell asleep. Well, thats basically what i wanted to say. I hoped that this review helped some-what (:

At first I must say I couldn't even imagine that this manhwa would make me read it over and over and feeling satisfied with its amazingness.
you need to understand this specific yet typical romance which is bounding people to feel true happiness in love. Also things like : feelings and thoughts about it from the man's side and woman's side.

And no matter what others say, this is - THE BEST THING MADE OUT OF ALL LITERATURE WORLD about true and unusual LOVE and Romance and all its hardships - doubts - passion - sadness - regret - lust - revenge - craziness - hate - ... first love and just support for each other after releasing this sweet but bitter thing called - perfect never ending love for each other, between man & woman!

Story ~ This is story which can happen, it's not cliche. if we look like that, every shoujo story would be cliche, why? the point of shoujo is to see real romantic stories with personalities and love progress or regress feeling aside with them and situations in which are they, seeing ourselves there or taking rights or wrongs from the story.
This manhwa have great story point which is unique, it have strong feelings, unusual meeting and love at first sight which one side accept immediately and other not ~ it develops in unusual way, making you realise how much people actually *complicate simple things* such as love.

Characters ~ really many kind of personalities.
I like that we have normal main girl with her strong mind, wishes and goals, but with fragile and sensitive attitude & also positive side. No matter how much girl seems strong, she needs support and pushing back person who will keep her from getting lost in life. also here we meet other kind of female personalities..
Guys are well described here, So STOP BRAGGING about man's image here, it perfectly fits the story, and it shows exactly opposite, not that men are bad, that they are good but get lost upon the love or due bad past or lack of woman's presence. BETTER LEARN SOMETHING men & women!
I like the main guy - perfect man who locking himself up for love due to past and finds love and perfect match without having a choice to accept it or decline droving into the deep first love potion. I like how he express his feelings and how he is really in love with the girl who is 100% perfect to him with all her bad or good points ~ and that he doesn't give up on her.

the only thing bothering me at first was their: too much pride, unspoken feelings and stubborness which were leading towards missunderstanding and bad things. both LOVE each other - man too much so he is loosing control since woman doesn't understand him, and woman with pride who was denying her feelings and wasn't seeing & allowing herself to the man who was obviously head over hells for her, thinking about stupid things and just complicating life more.

but ISN'T THAT WHAT WE ALL DO? we mostly never listen to others, we have our pride which constantly makes things harder for us and others, we never believe easily, never give oportunity to others to express themself or never allow ourselves to express all we have on our mind to the ones we care, love; until something happen which leads to situation give or take. constantly we COMPLICATE LIFE with meaningless things.
Life and Love should be the easiest and most beautiful, but why do people don't realise that? it needs to get complicate just to receive what you wanted?
just make some points from this and learn. :) yeah nothing perfect exist, but we can make effort to lead it at least to look like perfect be it love or job or anything else..

art ~ amazing ! for manhwa amazing and I love at all WANN's art, but this one gave me really great emotions, especially man's body, and eyes both for females and men are beautiful, also many kind of body positions and facial expressions well drawn ~

10 out of 10 !! amazing manhwa !! and no matter how many times I read this I can never get tired and not stop crying over this beautiful story... :)
I really recommend this to everyone, and don't read it fast! give every sentence every character and situation meaning and learn from it bad and good points. this is really beautiful romance story~

This has always been one of my top favorite manga. Let me say that in the beginning it's a bit boring here and there because of the falling in love quick but it got better and better as you keep reading it. Somewhat the main character girl piss me off so much but at some point I don't completely hate her because it's not her fault and for the main guy, he's just darn gorgeous. I don't know why they didn't make this into a korean drama, like wth? It use to be one of the top manga in mangafox LOL. Well I like this ... manga because I could feel the chemistry between the two characters and I am just so teared up when something happens between the two of them. I dislike how the writer just made the girl a bit too weak that...I just don't like it. But overall I love everything. The storylines, and the events that occur in the manga is..so well done. I wouldn't mind re-reading this manga when I have the time.

100% perfect girl is not what you would call a very original story as it focuses the relationship between an.average girl and a prince and it's not realistic either.

The story starts of with the prince reading a book called 100%perfect girl and then the story progresses. This manhwa shows the love between two people from different worlds and how they try to keep this love intact when huge obstacles arise. This manhwa focuses on love, freedom,revenge, betrayal and obsession. This manhwa to my belief is actually pretty dragged on as problems which have happened before keep on recurring.

The art is absolutely beautiful, clean and not ... all mushed up as it is normally in manhwa's. All of the characters look different from each other with their own unique characteristics. The expressions are amazing and speak for themselves. The action scenes are easily understood as are the love scenes

Characters(7)
One of the manga's flaw is its main characters. Everyone has problems which can usually be settled with talking but none of the protagonists have a concept of this. The heroine is stubborn,hot hedded,indecisive while the prince is stubborn,has a one tracked mind and easily jumps to conclusions. Still if you ignore these flaws then the characters have their good points too as the heroine is no cry baby and actually has the will to speak for herself which is a bit unusual in shoujo's and doesn't give up her dream.the rest of the characters play a vital part in the story and all of their personalities are well built and easy to sympathise with

The beginning of the manhwa till the middle chapters keep you on the edge if your seat and some scenes even give you the adrenaline rush and fluttery feeling in your tummy.then after that the manhwa goes slightly downhill and you start wishing for the end to come already. I reccomend you thus manhwa if you.like dramatic romantic stories with some action. This is actually not a bad read and definitely better than a lot of shoujo manga/manhwas out there.

I can't really do a long review from this once because I just finished reading it and really felt overwhelmed with the feelings I felt throughout my time reading the manhwa. Like, seriously.

STORY: 7 - GOOD

It was good, I guess. It was interesting. I really loved the innocent encounter they had in the beginning! ^_^ I still don't believe in love at first sight, but they sure proved that true love could work if you just stop misunderstanding each other, man... Because with love at first sight, it basically means that you fell in love with a person out of instinct without getting to know ... about the person first. That's some strong instinct that Jarte has, I should say.

I mean, Jay, is his FIRST and LAST love.

*cue the chills* I wonder if such a thing exists...

ART: 6 - FAIR

I have never been a fan of manhwa art, but I guess that's because I'm so used to the pretty manga art that I haven't been exposed to much manhwa art. The art for this manhwa disturbed me at first... you know, the lips are just too detailed. But soon, I got over it and it didn't really bother me anymore every time I look at the detailed lips. Because besides from that, the art is pretty and well-drawn. The action scenes, the bloody scenes, and the emotions (like love, embarrassment, despair, anger, fear, hope, hopelessness, etc.) that each and every character went through were perfectly portrayed.

It certainly made the story 10x better because I got the message that each panel is trying to portray quite well.

CHARACTER: 7 - GOOD

The characters were well thought of. What I meant was that each character had a role they had to play and not one character was just a waste of panel. They contributed to something in the plot, whether it was a minor character or an extra.

The character development was also quite good. I can't explain it in just a few words because I can't write for too long and it wouldn't do justice to how much the author went through to flesh out the struggles and change that the main characters had to go through. So, just trust me that when you finish reading the manhwa, I'm sure you won't feel any bitter feelings to any of the characters anymore... Well, that's what I hope at least. Because I felt the same after reading it. The antagonists: Ewan, Luigi, Kairen, even Jarte, himself... the bitter feelings I had against them were neutralized as I continued reading the manhwa until the epilogue.

ENJOYMENT: 6 - FAIR

Despite the rating I gave to the manhwa of the enjoyment being so-so, I finished the manhwa. But the only reason why was because I needed to know how the manhwa would end. Would Jay and Jarte get a happy ending? I didn't really have that much enjoyment compared to the despair and frustration that I felt with every problem they faced.

But, I did enjoy a few thing. Like Jarte's innocent boyish blushing face in the first few chapter and at the end of the chapter. Also, the only character that I had probably fangirled over was Lennox, lol. I thought I wouldn't mind if Jay ended up with him.

OVERALL: 7 - GOOD.

It was a good read. 'Nuff said. If you don't believe me, then with your own taste and expectations, just give the manhwa a chance and read the first chapter, at least.

Because you can never know how good a manhwa is with just a few chapters. You should judge the manhwa, manga, or manhua after you've read the whole thing. That's what I've learned from my past experiences, lol.

But, I assure you, though, that once you read the first chapter of this manhwa, you'll be reeled into it till the end. ;)

This relationship was toxic!

Throughout the story I often felt bad for the main girl as she struggled through everything the male lead put her though. He gets her sent to the hospital like seven times and one of those times was because she tried to kill herself out of despair at the thought that he didn't love her anymore, and then when she tries to leave him, he forces himself on her. In all honesty I wish she had just lost her memories and left, somewhere she could escape him, but no matter how hard she tried she always found herself right back at ... his side no matter how much he hurt her.

Their relationship was built off of lies and no trust and no matter how much they loved each other there was no way to change that even if they tried.
I love the story, but I really do believe this was a toxic relationship and that the ending should've played out differently.
