Throughout the story I often felt bad for the main girl as she struggled through everything the male lead put her though. He gets her sent to the hospital like seven times and one of those times was because she tried to kill herself out of despair at the thought that he didn't love her anymore, and then when she tries to leave him, he forces himself on her.
