After years of putting up with Takagi's teasing, Nishikata came to realize that her presence in his life had become irreplaceable. Now married, the days they spend together are more vibrant than ever, thanks to the antics of their mischievous daughter, Chii. Influenced by her mother, Chii has a habit of pulling pranks on her father, much to his dismay. Although Chii tries to trick her mother as well, it appears that no one in the family can beat the expert teaser at her own game.

Even if the teasing competition within the Nishikata household seems never-ending, it is undeniable that their playful interactions have created precious memories for the family, and will continue to do so.

Have you been reading Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san and get tired of the lack of romantic progress? Wondering if the couple will ever get a happy life forever after, so that you have to use your rarely functioning brain to come up with how their life looks like in the future? Fear not, Yamamoto-sensei does that for you instead.

After reading this for some time now i found that Nishikata still being embarrased for even the smallest things with Takagi is extremely old and annoying. When they were younger ok cool, he's embarrased, shy, she teases him a lot ok, but as an adult and still like this?? Makes you wonder why, Chi is so adorable, but what annoys me the most is the dad still being a wuss. Wish he had more guts and not be embarrased, it would add a better tone for the series i think, it's still a good read but don't expect anything new.

Disclaimer: This is my first manga review, feel free to ignore this if the way I write disturbs you. (Oh and, spoilers ahead for all of you still watching/reading the original series.)

As I found out fairly recently about the anime, I decided to read up on the spinoff/sequel of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-San and found myself hooked to this gem of a manga. At the time of writing this I've read only 24 chapters from wherever I could find it, so take it with a grain of salt as this can be easily read within the hour.

Story: 7/10 (good)

The reason I didn't give this a maximum 10/10 is because it would've been nice to see some change in character. This is an extremely heartwarming piece and it definitely tugs on the heartstrings but it's mostly the same shenanigans with Takagi pranking now husband Nishikata as well as their daughter Chi. It's been ten years so I hoped that there would be some development, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. The art is simple and cute as it always has been, and the story is the same slice of life style as the original. Its main purpose seems to be to give the two the read more
