| I am very bad with kids. Chiriko from Fushigi Yuugi. Nuriko point plot is that he dresses as a woman, but Chiriko is supposed to be a boy in the script, and is dubbed by a girl, and looks like a girl.  I had the same problem with the whole cast Zatchbell, except the horse. |

When I first started Assassination Classroom, I definitely thought Nagisa was quite girly, but I guess I figured out quickly he's a dude because he does wear a male uniform. Although he's got kinda big hips which further confused me lol. Although it's later revealed that that's definitely intentional for his character.   |

I remember when I was watching the first couple episodes of Utena I couldn't tell if Miki was meant to be male or female since he's fairly androgynous and the show's already pretty gay lol. I also experience that confusion a lot with okama characters, especially in older stuff. Though I guess with those the gender confusion is usually part of the point, even if the author included the character for a homophobic (or transphobic?) gag. |
