OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG KALLEN CAMEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE GOT TO SEE KALLEN AGAIN LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Sadly even Kallen's appearence cannot save this episode from it's unsatisfying ending :( I really enjoyed everything leading up to episode 8 (after that things felt kinda rushed? Idk) and even that final fight was dope as hell!!

But why did Ash have to die???? Srsly?? C'mon it was super unnecessary to kill off his character like that at the very end! And Sakuya sealing away her own voice to prevent herself from using her Geass again seems a bit like overkill. I mean couldn't she have just ordered herself to simply not use her Geass anymore?

Oh well at least the technology to revert the Geass still exists, so if she really needed to she could undo it.

Either way, here is hoping that Ash stays true to his name and somehow returns like a Phoenix if there ever is a sequel to this (heck even Lelouch got resurrected somehow, so it's not entirely impossible... I think?)

what was even the point of this show.

the whole series is so voidless. just a few cameos to make people remember they are watching code geass and not this blasphemy.

noland resolution is so bad is almost laughable, i love how the MC tries to dig his movitations saying a bunch of reasons and all he says is "no", even a mime has more personality this guy.

I don't know how they manage to make these shows worse everytime, and they still want to make more?

Maaaaaaaannnn wth

I gotta say just everyone else here that the ending was definitely rushed. Ash dying for a dumb reason and Roland being overhyped to the brim. My expectations for this show were not met. The majority of the creators of Code Geass when it was still airing have moved on or passed away, but that's not a good excuse to let this show be as it is. This show had potential but sadly was sunken. Just like the JJK ending, there were alot of plot holes and it was a rushed ending.

Sakuya can't use her Geass powers or at least pass them down like Lelouch did? If they're gonna revive the series somehow (I hope not), something to do with telepathy or something to pass it her powers.

Also Ash is best boy, no competition.

This show has no business existing. An absolute disgrace.

Well it was fine overall, but it being part of main code geass world made it worse for me. Would`ve been better if it was separate universe with no connection to Lelouch world.

Man.. i felt almost nothing at the last episode. It really feels rushed to the point its hard to feel anything to the actual cast except maybe Ash. The Ending with sakuya becoming mute feels unnecessary rather than showing her resolve. She's just imposing herself a severe punishment.

even better, why not just search Lelouch, then ask him to take back/remove/seal the Geass. Lelouch and CC im sure would agree since the point here is Sakuya already had full experience and understand what Lelouch means of what the power of King could bring. and she's already made peace to never use it again. Actually, we dont even know how Sakuya met Lelouch in the first place when they've been travelling incognito in remote place.

The antagonist whole raison d etre also feels flat. This is worse than Char aznable clone in Gundam Unicorn. this Charles clone is just evil for no clear reason, just want to exterminate human , thats it. And he dies just like that, despite being a Charles clone, which could be an interesting plot point for the original cast (except lelouch maybe) if they are a bit more involved in the final conflict. a very weak antagonist narrative wise, even the antagonist from Lelouch Rebirth movie has clear motivation.

The scale of conflict suddenly becomes worldwide with so little set-up, and then resolved with so little fanfare... the original cast and also Spin-off character appearing is good, but they didnt do anything other than being fan service, a bad one even. Like Cmon, only Cordelia and Gino seems cared about the conflict. its like they want to make sure this is unlike the world conflict like before so the OG cast dont have to come and flex their ability, but suddenly everyone is involved in the last episode but not being able to do anything substantial.

To this day i still considering R2 is the true ending for Code geass. anything after that are just fanfiction made solely for cash grab

The cameo from old characters is pointless and serve only to remind people that this is still Code geass. they are basically add nothing to the plot. and speaking about the plot it basically the plot of R1 and R2 copy pasted speedrun into 12 episode.

Norland is the most dissaponting villain i have ever seen in the anime. he was overhyped to the max and made to be op as hell only for him to goes down with one attack what the fuck? the show didn't even bother to explain his reason to wipe out the humanity.

Well this was disappointing to say the least.
Also why did Ash die exactly? - Never did we get any indication of power being an issue during this season.
I get that he was commanded to fight against Norland and to prevail at any cost but couldn't Sakuya just have picked him up?

This entire season felt rushed, I never felt any connection the characters at all and the storyboard was just not good.
Somehow they managed to hide these Loki robots for all these years and they somehow had the resources too.

Great animation and at least it was entertaining at times even if it didn't make sense.

Seeing all the "guests" was a guilty pleasure. I will just admit i forgot the majority of Akito's story XD( well it's already 10 years). The character design was top notch as usual.
Just wondering where was Orange-kun or Schneizel.

At least I got to see some Kallen

Putting aside the ending - and not even trying to compare it against the R2 ending, there was enough for this to be enjoyed for what it is

still seeing this all as an alternate continuation, the movies changed some major plotpoints just to be able to continue lelouch story from being dead to being alive, people who take this timeline in canon is confusing to me since that makes the red thread of the whole story not work. is this what those people wanted fanservice cameos? random stories and milking the original plot point with a freaking charles clone, nah, Ash and Sakuya were an interesting pair that could have that was about the only part that worked and had something to build on but they focused on telling their story super fast which tells me that they want to put out geass stuff to earn money without putting 110% in it.

some things why is Kallen showed 2 seconds in the last episode the original Kallen would not stand for a neo britannia do all that shit after the world lelouch build.

Sakuya's "right ash" in the last scene is almost a jab at all the deniers of the original, also her putting geass on herself, sure i get what they wanted to tell by that but its also kind of "cheap"
Can just dream of a world with geass content that would follow the original ending instead diving into the mystery of geass instead and maybe go back to handdrawn nightmares instead of the cgi, if they could animate nightmares in 2007-2008 then they can do it today.

I had to re-watch some scenes from this show especially the ending I finished several days ago just to be sure so I could say Rozé is better than the original series. No annoying fillers, no unnecessary drama, no Geass convenient failing to generate massacres, no annoying seconday MC who beomes a nuisance to the plot with arrogant morals, no mysterious leader who have a double life in the school but it is somehow difficult for others to discover him, no overoptimistic ending where we have to believe peace is eternally assured -which unlike many of y'all think, it was Resurrection who ruined R2 ending, not Rozé-, we don't have to follow a dude who wants to kill hundreds of people for his sister, no evil Emperor who is re-written and obviously better animation.

What I found curious some people act the original was a masterpiece when Code Geass in general is between ok and poorly written, the series shouldn't be taken too seriously in the first place since it fails in most things it wants to do especially R2. The fact some still want the OG cast which they were already developed in the original instead of creating and using new characters is obviously another case of nostalgia and refusing to give new stuff a chance. I think such people aren't going to enjoy another new Code Geass series at this point if you keep looking at the past. Also, Code Geass is about the Geass, NOT about Lelouch or other characters from the original so the studio is making the correct decision of creating new characters while the Geass still being a part of it.

Dakkan no Rozé is better than the original which include R1, R2 and all movies. 8/10 for the series.

All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.
