How so? If she didn’t want to take on an apprentice because it would be over in an instant and so would be so much effort for such a small time wouldn’t she think the same about a romantic relationship?

Please read a book about elves outside of Anime/Manga/LN. Also what is with threads these days about the virginity of a 2d character you are definitely not gonna have sexual relations with? At least try to not blow your cover as a desperate man like the majority of normal anime fans.. |

They had a strong platonic connection in the end but nothing like romance(meaning having romantic feelings) though I can see that as a possibility. |

| @NotDigit she wasn't really in a relationship, but I think Himmel might've liked her in that way. Just the way he acts and talks to her kind of seems like it. Also it would make sense why she thinks of Himmel a lot, but doesn't know how to process those memories. |

| Frieren is like 13-14yo by her species lifespan... she is little more than a child, I doubt she has an interest in romance. Moreover, is not even clear if elves are particularly interested in romance... with their lifespan, reproduction must be very low on their priority list. Also, her species is nearly extinct at this point. I have catch up with the manga, but from what I remember, we met only a single other elf in the whole manga. |

| @Miglaja I doubt it... her tears were more the result of regretting not spending the time to get to know him - she realized how meaningful their adventure was for Himmel and for humans in general, while for her it was just a mere decade - but specifically just because it was just a mere decade, she realizes that she had the time on her hand, yet she wasted it. If she had romantic feelings it would have been made more clear, but at no point do we get that, all her memories and all she discovers during her journey, is what impact did he have on the world and how many things she missed by simply being indifferent. |
